The Week the World Flipped Over!
Game Plan
With literally everything on the line, we pull back the curtain on the SAVE Act, moving beyond the "Real ID" headlines to uncover what critics describe as a blueprint for a total and complete authoritarian takeover of America’s elections. Oh!..and don’t worry. We have a lot to say about the landmark ruling on free speech regarding conversion therapy. Lastly, to close this “roller coaster” of a show, we round out the hour with a plethora of shocking celebrity scandals and one harrowing survival story. P.S. Taylor finally stumps Ian at two truths and a lie (and he didn’t screw it up this time).
Hey, there we go. Hello everyone.
Christ. And welcome to Two Tongs and a
lie. I'm Taylor Perry.
Hi, I'm Ian. With all the enthusiasm in the
world. Every time, every time, every
time, all the time. Lots going on this week.
Lots going on. That is what you had said.
Wow wow wow wow. The dry spell is over of crazy
current offense and political shit.
Here to explain. Well, you already said you don't
know what happened with Christine's husband.
No, I don't. So a what did?
Happen with her husband. Oh it's it's grab your grab your
bag of popcorn. Yeah, is a good one cuz you know
how you know she's the head department of.
No, she's on. Or she was.
The Department of Homeland Security she was fired.
Okay, was okay, formerly known as sure is she obviously a lot
of problems with the illegal immigrants and whatever, so
obviously a lot of controversy against her.
Well, now we have an undocumented sex worker.
So we have an undocumented sex worker that had dirt on her
husband while being a crossdresser.
I'm sorry, Christina Gnomes, was that cross dresser?
I was hoping for a sound effect. I mean she was like, but I'm
just confirming she was a cross. He was a cross dresser.
He is a cross dresser is is Yeah, like the Daily Mail has
yes so he. Is a cross dresser.
He has, yes, and he has sent $25,000 to the TO on fetish
sites to these sex workers and these people that have the same
fetish as hell and but the kicker is he's obsessed with
obnoxiously cartoonish looking big boobs.
So like Amanda Lepore. So who is that?
Part of the 90s club scene. That I feel like I know that.
Name she's had the most like plastic surgery.
And what is it? Amanda Lepore, like, she's like
the most expensive like model. Yeah, the even bigger, the he.
Yeah, even bigger, even bigger because he was taking he, I
guess he likes to take tight shirts and just shove big
balloons under there. And so that was the picture of
him. And he was just like, like
trying to look all sexy and with these big giant melon.
Like big hands. Kind of thing.
Oh my God, it was hilarious to watch.
So she came out, I don't think I don't know if she did anything
live but in the reports and was like, we need a moment of
silence and prayer for our family.
Like they acted like someone died.
I'm like. You.
You're such a cunt you even deserve a moment of silence for
your career because that's the only.
But but she's so she's so fucked up that she doesn't even deserve
a moment of silence for her career.
She doesn't. She didn't even get recognized.
Her career doesn't even doesn't even deserve a moment.
Silence. No moment.
Silence. For you, Christy, no.
No, it just absolutely odd, Yeah.
Gunshots. Bazooka Barbie.
Who? That's that's my name.
That's my nickname for her. For her, yeah.
I mean, that's kind of giving her too much credit, I feel.
Horrible. That's giving her, too.
Much so that was that was a fun one.
We can talk about what a piece of shit Tiger Woods is.
He's such an alcoholic. Britney's God, that's.
Not alcoholic, don't compare into Brit.
They were both arrested for a DUI.
Lord's name, out of here, out of your mouth, The God Knees name.
They were both charged with a DUI by.
And Tiger. But I Is this Britney's first?
I don't know. I think this is Tiger's third.
Either way, they both got pulled over.
They both got arrested for a DUI.
But Britney's not a piece of shit.
It's just as simple as that for me, right?
There's many. There's many people who think
Tiger Woods isn't. I'm not one of them, but.
I think it's a piece of shit. I think most what he did to his
wife was pretty awful. Most athletes are pieces of
shit. He's on.
This is like the he flips a vehicle like every other year it
seems like. Well, because he can.
He's like, he's, that's a sportster.
Like he's like, allowed to. I have so many things wrong with
that. I'm like, do you not know how?
Many football players go to field ball like the first ball.
I'm going to say something controversial.
I really don't find golf a sport.
I mean, it's it's a sport, but it's not.
It's not. He's not.
I mean, he's an athlete, but he's not.
It's not physically demanding like a lot of the other.
Sports. No.
It is the only sport where the athletes are just old fat.
A lot of them are old, fat turds.
You don't see them basketball, you don't see them football.
I'm going a little hard on golf. I actually do like, I really
don't like Tiger Woods. I think he's a piece of shit.
I really do. I always have.
I remember back in high school with the whole scandal with his
wife and all sorts of ugly, ugly women.
Do you Have you ever seen his wife?
Yeah. Miss Nordegren?
Yep, she's I I don't even know where to begin.
And how beautiful she. Is gorgeous, and that's because
why he's an athlete. I athletes again lose the
stretch. It's a stretch for golf.
It's it's a stretch for golf because these guys are pretty
unhealthy looking. He's not Tiger.
He's pretty fit. I bought him for Tiger.
You were just like I bought him for, you were just ripping him
to fries 2 seconds ago and you're now like flipping the
coin and like Oh yeah I bought for him.
What? I still think he's a piece of
shit. I don't get here.
No, I mean, I don't even really necessarily think he's not that.
I don't even necessarily think he's that attractive either, but
I mean, it's not what I mean. He's not ugly.
I. Don't.
Know did I ever did I oh the I don't know if this was his third
DUI, but definitely his third car crash 3rd or 4th.
Maybe I mean. I'm saying maybe there might
have even been 1/4. If we're talking car crashes, I
mean what? Details about, I don't know
where are we going with that. It was quite Segway.
About car car. And then the bridges ended and I
just drove off into the river. And that's the car crash.
That was the car crash. Well, I still think Tiger Woods
piece of shit, and I still would probably model for him.
That's just where we're at right now.
And he had it and. And oh, by the way.
So can't decide on if he's like and like our you can't decide on
our own morals, then that's where we are, no?
That's that's definitely. Our own values.
Where I'm at, we're probably always stay.
Questioning my morals, my values.
So we've got Christy Noem, we've got Tiger Woods.
I've got so, so many other things I had.
Like, it was just one of those weeks.
I can't keep up with everything. Honestly.
It was like Christmas for current events and politics
stuff. Well, Easter, it's Easter.
Maybe that's what it is. I was there a full moon.
Yes, there was actually. That's what it's.
So I do remember somebody saying at work earlier this week,
they're like, I think there's a full moon because.
All the crazies are. Crawlies are coming out, yes.
All the crazies are. Out yes Oh my gosh that totally
is because so the first obviously major major topic the
overturning of the of the the Colorado's ban on conversion
therapy obviously huge huge blow to the gate community how do you
feel about that and you read it one more time what?
Read it one more time. Well, all I said was they
overturned Colorado's ban on conversion therapy.
That's it. That's all.
They overturned the ban on conversion therapy as far as
I've gotten. So that means they're
reinstating it then? No, Colorado banned gay
conversion therapy. Or trans.
Read that differently. What did I say it wrong?
That sounded like it for a moment, Did I?
It sounded like it for a moment. Well, are we on the same page
now? And I mean, so Colorado, there
no more straight camps. No, they, the, the they banned
that. They banned conversion therapy.
And now the Supreme Court came in and said no, that that it
they're protecting the free speech of that therapist, if
that, that they're now saying that therapist has the right to
convert you. Yeah.
OK. So then yeah, that's what I was
saying. Yeah, that's what I was asking.
OK. I'm glad we finally got there.
We're on the same page now I'm. Sorry, so they basically
reinstated convergent therapy camp?
Is that what you were trying to say?
Yes, I'm so sorry. Yes, that is sorry.
It's a, it's a pretty touchy subject.
My head is still kind of spinning from it.
I have. I have.
I have. Have you forben?
What convergent therapy? No.
Have you? I mean, scout camp is kind of a
form of it I think. The Boy Scouts.
Yeah, Boy Scouts of America, I thought.
It'd make you gayer. It did?
I thought it does the exact opposite of what you're.
Supposed, I mean, if you think about it, a conversion therapy
camp or whatever it is, you have a million people have the same
sex, just denying the fact that they like you.
No, I so it's very gay. I completely get how it works.
Very gay environment. I just, I guess I just never
thought of it as conversion therapy.
I thought of as as just gay. I mean, just just gay.
I mean scout camp every year we would after the week for a week.
Besides the gay thing, I really kind of think that it would have
been fun to just do in general. Well, Scouts, yeah.
I mean, I learned a lot of I. Probably would have made a lot
of like lifelong friends back then when I was younger that I
don't have now. Do you?
Want to know how many friends I've made that are still friends
to this day from scouts? 0.
None. None.
None. Did you get along with anybody?
Yeah, I got along with plenty, but no one followed through.
Why? Because they're Mormon.
I. Do apologize for that.
Yeah. All this on behalf of your
community. Although I will say, although I
did not earn my rank all the way up to an Eagle Scout, I didn't
earn my way all the way up to a life, which is the one right
under it and I was like 3 badges away.
Where's the applause? I don't know the words.
I don't know either. I gave us the flaws.
So, but like, I was 3 badges away from my Eagle and then my
Eagle project and then I went on it, but I kind of gave up
because I'm not trying to like the Eagle project has to like
contribute to the community. And I'm sorry, I'm selfish.
If it's not contributing to me, I'm not gonna do it.
I mean, you kind of got to be a little selfish in this world,
otherwise the world just eat you alive.
I had this one friend, Nick. We would always have this
mindset of like, you should always be a little bit selfish.
No matter a little selfish, no matter how many people around
you are on your deathbed, you're still the only one dying.
I yeah, no. Someone selfish.
Someone name Art that I knew a long time ago said the same,
said something similar. Like you just got to be a little
selfish otherwise the world just eat your life.
And it kind of like it that that kind of like makes me a little
sad though, because I know we're like getting into like the whole
LGBT and religion thing and stuff.
Oh, is that this? Episode Well, no, but like, I
mean, that's kind of what the the fight over conversion
therapy really kind of is. Yeah, but it does.
So I do have, I do find this interesting though, because this
wasn't 8 to 1 majority. This was an 8 to 1 vote Supreme
Court. Tanji Brown Jackson was the only
one that said this is opening it.
This is starting a very, excuse me, a very dangerous precedent.
Only one Sotomayor and Kagan both voted with the conservative
justices on this one. And I just that that really said
a lot to me it when those two said, no, we have to protect
free speech. I, I, I just feel like this is,
this is obviously a huge boat to the gay community, trans
community, the LGBT, the whole, the entire spectrum of that.
But it just that really told me that there's something deeper
here. And we always knew that there it
goes. Not really necessary.
Yes, it was, it was gay. I don't think that was
necessary. It was gay.
I mean, we're talking about gay and we're so worried about it.
You only tongue pop when it's punctuating a sentence.
I suppose. So I thought it was appropriate.
But it's just, I do have to admit, this was definitely a lot
more than just what's on the surface. 1000% it usually
always. Is the free speech is very is a
very delicate thing. It kind of is.
And it is something that is constantly under attack it seems
like nowadays. In law school you have like 5
different courses dedicated to to the First Amendment alone.
Yeah. No, it's tough.
It's the first one that's obviously the most and there's.
Multiple books written on it. Of course, it's definitely
important. I totally understand, which just
makes me think that, you know, with those two, with those, with
those two siding with the majority, it's just kind of
maybe they right, you know, those two are very important
liberal justices. So for them to say I haven't had
am I not making any sense? Not really, you lost me a while
ago. Yeah, OK, we can find this.
Yeah, so gay rights is in danger or whatever.
Liberal judges voted again with it, no against it, or with the.
What? I don't know, this is what I
gathered from what you were just ranting on about.
It was it was an 8 to 1 vote. Yeah, on gay, on the gay First
Amendment right. Let's just move on.
I feel like this was such an important topic and I feel like
it's going nowhere. I'm sorry.
I am trying to deliver the fact work with me here.
I'm I'm trying. It's not my fault.
It's boring. How is this boring?
I mean the Christie Gnomes was pretty funny, but it.
Was pretty funny. I love that one.
Right, next topic. Well, we, I definitely talked
about the save Act before, but do we really know?
Who's it saving? Well, it's a, we're just,
everyone's diving it into into it a lot more and it's a lot
more than just a voter. We're focusing on the running.
It's a lot more than just a voter ID and all this.
Crap, you're just now realizing we're focusing on the wrong
thing just now. Well, if you knew the whole
time, why didn't you say anything?
I mean, that's just common knowledge of being American.
We both run the wrong thing all the time.
Well, do you? See who's in office right now.
Yes, I will agree with you on that.
I will agree with you on that, that laws are typically written
to trick you for the most. Part with the language.
Like right to work? Like a right to work state is
actually the right to not work. Kind of, if I, if I understood
it correctly, a little on the deceiving side, yeah, a right to
work versus an at will the right.
Because if I remember right, the right to work is actually like
almost as kind of like a right to not work.
I don't know, I'm looking it up right now just to make sure.
At will, I'm pretty sure that's right.
At will versus right to work states.
Right to work state. I don't know.
I'm from Illinois and it's like super union state.
I believe it's an AT will state. So as early of 202626 states
have the right to work laws, most in the Southwest, Midwest
and plains, which prohibits mandatory unions, due dues or
memberships as a condition of employment.
Wow. OK.
So no unions basically? Yeah.
It's and how does the US Post Office work?
Because that's throughout the nation and.
Like 26 states, like that's just federal.
Because they're the union, Yeah, they have a whole union behind
them. I think they are just like their
own thing. I really honestly, I'm not quite
sure. Well, it's all federal.
That's a federal entity. I worked for the post office
Once Upon a time, so it's not really.
See, you worked for the federal government.
I guess I won't I. Guess they're just hiring
everybody. I mean, look at Pam Bondi's
like. Not anymore.
Oh, my God. That was the other thing.
Pam Bondi's gone. That was that was the most
recent 1 today. Actually, it was so recent
before we went on air. I haven't even had a chance to
write that one down yet. When I said it was like crit.
Yeah, exactly. Here we go.
Awesome. Yeah, that was awesome.
Actually I really enjoyed. Time.
She was pretty bad, but can you help?
Can you just help help me understand though?
Like I, well, actually, I can't help but think that this was all
just locked and loaded from a long time ago.
Like I, I really think Trump has tried so hard to hide these
Epstein files that he has had. He has probably been planning
for a year of all his distractions that he's going to
have this whole year, maybe even the next two years after this.
Yeah. Like, I really feel like this is
all. Do you?
Don't you ever think that, like, maybe he just put all these
crazy clowns in there. That's all a distraction.
I think it's all a distraction. Stuff.
He is the distraction. That anything, anything that he
can use as a distraction, that's what it is right now and I is
the distraction. I think he put a bunch of
fucking clowns in there anywhere just so that they could
distract. That's all.
He wanted them. He didn't want them to run the
government. He didn't want them to take care
of anything. No, I wanted them.
He wanted. Baboons in those positions so he
could look better than all of them.
I still think it was a distraction.
I think everything. I think everything that man does
now I just help but think is he's a.
There's a motive. Yeah.
Fun fact, did you know a Congress is actually a group of
apes? OK, so it makes sense.
What? Where did what?
So the word Congress. Yeah.
Is defined as a group of. Apes, because that's what it all
that OK, That's a Congress saying a Congress of apes, OK.
And when it's people, I guess you just call the government.
I guess it's just a bunch of apes running the country, a
bunch of monkeys running the. Country that isn't, that isn't
is that is interesting that that is what is what it's called.
Yeah, that was hysterical. I learned that in government
class like years ago. Well, the going back to the save
act though. Yeah, that thing, I mean, we.
Have to talk about the fact that is like it is an election,
election takeover, like the voter ID, is that everything
that again that's the small part, it's a complete handover
of election data from every state.
Yeah, that's one from my run. And that's once a month.
Yeah, but so Trump could run a third, like like third term.
I can't say shit right now. And they can pick and choose
people and just whoop. We don't count that about.
Your information? You're not.
You might not be able to get into the vote.
Oh, well, that's your information, isn't there?
Oh, sorry, you don't get to vote.
Bye. Because you're not.
Because they can pick and choose ever they want.
To go and say you're. In that at that polling station,
it's ridiculous. It's all rigged.
We knew that. That's OK.
So I thought we as the people elect our leader as president,
right? Then why do we have the
Electoral College? It makes no sense because if
this is a massive, it's very outdated.
Say that. It's like if it's like if it's
if we are voting as people who vote someone who we think should
be president. Why do we have the Electoral
College? Because there have been many a
time when the masses have said no, we want this president.
But the Electoral College said you thought and go the other one
many times. But the Dow.
But the Dow. The Dow.
But the Dow. Do you think Pam Bondi's just at
home on her knees going? But but the Dow.
She's not bragging about it right now, but I was fucking in
shambles right now. Oh my God.
But no, it is scary. I, I, it is an authoritarian
takeover on this whole I, I'm just now discovering way more
into what it actually really is. So it's so much fun, like
reading and all this stuff, because I actually kind of
understand what's going on. Yay yay.
Does that make you feel better by your IQ test?
I was afraid you were going to bring that up.
I got a one O 2 listeners. I found out is just.
Average. You're barely about.
You're you're one point of no two points above average.
Oh, look at me go slightly above average.
I'm slightly above average in just so many ways.
I I told you you were. It was just another one to add
to the list. Exactly.
OK, so like when I was in high school, though I was a usually
AB plus was pretty. I was for you.
I was OK with that. I've never, Yeah, I didn't
really want it. Never exceeded.
Past the B plus. In college I did.
Well, Yeah, Remember I was talking about college.
I did last year. Yeah.
You in Wisconsin were bragging about these?
I got. Courses that you like passed.
Yeah, I got like, I got like all A's in college.
This past run around, run through.
I graduated Magna cum laude. What?
I graduated with honors, bitch. And not even graduations, not
even the low honors, the middle honors.
How many Sasha? What?
No. How many Sasha did you have?
How many? What?
Sasha or chords? Did you have a graduation?
It was an associates. They still have graduation for
associates. Yeah, I had.
Graduation, but I didn't have all the fancy like hoods, all
that stuff. Well, I mean if you graduated
middle honors you should have at least some chords they.
Didn't give me anything, but I don't really care.
I was just excited to have just have something.
Of notoriety. Yeah.
That proves you are smart in some way, shape or form.
I yeah, actually, I, I, I feel like people think that I'm
probably not as smart as I really am.
So I feel like maybe and now. I never said that though.
I know, no, I know, I know. There's maybe there's maybe been
an X in the past that maybe has made comments.
There might have been people growing up or kids growing up
that, you know, just the bull throughout my life.
Yeah. There's always some bullies out
there, right? I mean, this is Earth.
I realized recently too, actually, that I might have been
the bully in school. It doesn't surprise me.
Like there's this one. OK, so real quick anyways, so.
You kind of scare me. Good.
So there's this one day. So everyone knows that the day
of silence is suicide awareness Day, right?
Yay. We had this one gay in our
school and he was like the token gay, like, you know, he, he
walked into the school like he was wearing the 00 jeans and
from the girl section and everything.
He was gay. And so he was participating in
the new like silent day for suicide awareness.
And that day in particular, I kind of like was relentless on
him. Like I was like, hey, his name
was hi. And if you're listening, I
would. So were you, but hold on, were
you? Oh, sorry, I probably should
have interrupted. So on go on.
But I do have a question. So he would have walked by and I
was like, Hey, Jamie in does should just fall to your asshole
because it's so loose. You're a horrible person.
And that was in high school. So were you distracting because
you were gay? No, he just he the gay like he
was like the token gay. But you, you were never thinking
to yourself like I should probably deflect.
No, not once. You just, you were, you were
just mean. You were just a mean person.
I didn't. I didn't realize that.
I mean, because that's kind of what I'm gathering.
If you, you could have just said you were deflecting.
I did. That would have made more.
Sense I didn't realize I was a mean person until like literally
recently like I had said. You're actually not a mean
person. You're a great person.
You are a very important person in my life.
Oh yeah. I think between the podcast and
our friendship and you help me around here, yeah, all my
handyman work that you just picked up and started doing and
everything looks great. And so, no, I applaud you and I
thank you for everything you do. But but you are very mean.
You need to, you need to, you need to apologize.
Get him on the phone. Right now.
I don't have a member. I want to call him on Facebook
or something. I don't.
Have, we're going to call him. I think it'd be great.
I think it'd be great for the listeners.
They're cathartic. It'd be great for the listeners,
great for the podcast. Speaking of cathartic and
therapy and everything, can we go to your one topic about
therapy talk? Yeah, I would like you called
that segment boring, so we moved on you.
Know such? Like I said, I had a lot to say
about that one. You said it was boring.
Yeah, you were talking about. We were just, we were talking
about talk away. No, I'm not.
You were talking about LGBT. OK Anyways.
Wait, that that was part of the segment and.
You. That was a long Segway to get
into that. You yelled at me.
You were taking too long. Well go come on bitch.
That's how. So I like I said, I have a lot
to say as far as like therapy talk goes because sweet bitch.
I've had recently had a friend whose partner would use it all
the time and the problem with it is that.
Can you expect? Can you just define what is
therapy? Talk.
So therapy talk is basically like using therapeutic terms
like boundaries or I get triggered or just trying to use
these intellectual psychological terms in everyday scenarios to
make themselves sound like smarter.
OK, which no, they're not. They just heard them from a real
or like this is my type of anxiety.
Like this is how like you should do stress.
I'm like, OK, bitch number one, you haven't even been to a
therapy session yet. You just get this from fucking
Instagram, which is not entirely 100% true #2 you're not using it
to better yourself. You're weaponizing therapy talk,
which is what drives me insane. Cuz if you were in a
relationship and your partner goes in and it's like, OK, well
here are my boundaries, XY and Z.
They're not boundaries that they're setting.
They're setting rules up so they don't have to confront difficult
conversations. That reminds me of the oh, who
is the let them therapist doctor.
Oh, shoot, I forgot her name. Robinson.
Mel Robinson, I think is who it is.
I'm going to look it up and confirm that real quick.
Yes, please, because I'm not familiar.
OK, Exactly what you're saying though.
Robins, Mel. Robins, Doctor Mel Robins.
This, this lady, now she has this whole thing.
Oh yeah. So yeah, yeah, yeah.
Let. Them the let them thing you've
heard that right. Well, I know of her and it
sounds amazing when you're watching her videos you found
sounds so free and Joe this lady's this is great.
He knows what you talk about Gung ho let them you know, like
that's how we need to be and somebody like came through and
just completely everything that she had to say with that whole
philosophy. They were like the let them
theory of just let them, but let everything snowball, let
everything go. Don't talk about it.
That's a great idea. I know that's what someone was
actually saying. It's actually kind of great that
we're talking about this because I used to love listening to Mel
Robbins talk. And then it took like months and
months when I was moving from Wisconsin and getting down here
last summer and just kind of going through a breakup.
And it was just. So hard to get.
Through it. OK, months and months of
listening to this bitch. And then 11. 45 re 5 second reel
on Facebook of this of this rando of this rando who
allegedly is a psychologist too. That just was like, oh, this is
actually really unhealthy. Yeah, I was like, and then I
just clicked and I I don't think I ever saw I my phone heard me.
I never saw Mel Robbins in my algorithm again.
Yeah, no, I mean the like the idea is very empowering.
That's what I'm saying. But as soon as you hear her
talk, you're socked in. The fallout is God awful.
That's yeah, yeah. Months of following slate and
then boom, for 145 seconds it was.
It all came tumbling down like a Jenga game.
It was. But I'm glad you brought that
up, because that is that is kind of a fun thing to talk about.
Oh, the therapy talk. Well, yeah, but you can keep
going about that if you have more to say.
I did want to jump in about the let them thing because you've
mentioned, you know, avoiding conflict and conversations.
Yeah, and if you'd like it, like, like, OK, so like Gordon,
the one friend that he was dating the psycho.
Sorry. Not really.
There's a lot of them out there in our community.
Not wrong. So he was dating him.
His name was Jordan, my friend and his partner.
I'm not gonna say his name, but he would use therapy, talk like
every single day just to like position himself in a way to
where he doesn't have to talk about anything difficult or
anything that he doesn't want to talk about in his past because
it's triggering. Yeah.
And that was a boundary he has set.
But you kind of need to know your partner's history a little
bit. You don't have to know every
detail, but you at least should know at least a little bit about
their dating history, right? Just so you don't make those
same mistakes. And he refused to talk about any
of them because he was traumatized or it was a trigger.
And don't get me wrong, some exes, yeah, that can be very
true. But on every topic.
Bitch, you see, I I wouldn't mind like a partner that would
open up and want to talk about it, but actually not lead that
to their benefit because that's what that's what he was doing.
Then that's what my ex was doing.
My ex that I talked talked about on the previous episode 2,
episode 2, actually a fair, a fair to remember and an ex to
forget. I still love that title by the
way. We thought we thought about
ourselves. We just and.
We've thought of every title. You kind of took the reins on a
few. Which ones?
The bad ones? Just kidding.
OK, just kidding. I don't know if you noticed this
project. Name.
Just kidding, I adore you. But my ex was in the military.
Yeah, he was the ex Marine. So it was just kind of like he
they I think they teach them how to manipulate in the play mind
games in the in the military. And to a certain extent, yeah,
they do have. And he was always, always like
always trying, Oh my God, he was always trying to spin it in his
direction and trying to make me look stupid.
And you know what? That's.
Just called manipulation kind of works.
That's just called manipulation. You don't think that has
something to do with the military though?
Like they they're. I'm sure because they have they
have a mini psychological. Person and not like.
Poor warfare, but not actively teaching.
This is how you manipulate a conversation, not actively.
But I mean OK. But I'm sure there are some
skills they could pick up from all these horses.
Maybe they don't teach it, but maybe it's picked up.
It's picked up. I don't know.
I I've I experienced it first hand and I've heard someone else
that was married to an ex Marine that said the same thing and
that they are taught in the Marines that you are the best,
you are the bravest and you're the greatest.
That's. Because they have the longest
boot. This would be a great.
I wish Thalia was on tonight because she's married to.
Him. Yeah, apparently.
I know I probably already have offended the fuck out of her.
Fun Thalia or her wife? Wait, I thought she was married
to. She's.
Oh, OK. She's Elizabeth.
She's a wife. I'm sorry.
I thought she had a husband. I thought we said a husband.
No. Oh, OK.
Well, still, I've probably offended the fuck out of her
with my Marine talk, I guess. I guess Daddy's joining the.
Yeah, she's joining the. Podcast, I mean, we don't know.
She's not with us tonight right now, so we'll find out
eventually, but. Well I don't mean to offend but
I'm just simply giving my experience and my thoughts and
my thoughts on the experience. There's nothing wrong with being
married to AC military or African military or any military
if you guys get along and you have things in common.
There were two things that me and my ex-husband didn't have.
I mean, but opposites do attract to a certain extent.
You'd got to agree to at least to some point.
I don't know how it works though when you just don't have
anything in common. Like I totally get opposites
attract, opposite personalities can attract.
But if you both love hike, if you both love hiking and
kayaking and boating and beaches and vacationing, yeah, you
probably, they're you probably are in for.
A go on for. Adventure, I was going to say
you're probably in for a really long beautiful life, but when
you're not, when you're into opposite things, I think that's
where it's that's where you're going to really.
Hobbies. I mean hobbies.
Really. I think everyone should have
their own hobby and everyone deserves everyone should have
some time away from their solely slash partners slash whatever.
They want, I don't put words in my mouth.
I'm not saying you have to spend every waking minute with each
other. No, that's what I'm saying.
But I'm just saying like, you need to have stuff in common.
You can't have everything not in common.
I mean, you can't, you can't have any.
You can't, not whatever. My my mom's parents, my grandpa,
grandma, the one that was named Karma, they had hobbies and they
were had their own like. As most grandparents.
Do they did. They were great.
They had their own little like in their basement tattoo of
their offices. One of them.
So my grandpa's hobby was miniature trains.
That is so I loved growing up with miniatures.
It would that must have been like a thing of the time.
Well. They are now well.
I think, OK, I, I don't think they're as popular as they are
now. I've seen them pop up in like
museums and place shops and stuff and everything.
But like the 80s and 90s seem to be like peak model train time.
Because I remember going into a few people's houses, I remember
going into our back of our hardware store and everyone had
just just massive acres, acres of these little model things.
And as a kid, it's just like. Oh my God, that's so cool.
Yeah, so that was my grandpa. That's so, but it's really cute.
It was adorable. That was a long winded way of
saying that was so adorable. And then my grandma, grandma
karma karma. I mean, does she keep her seats?
No, but she lives up to the name I mean.
She will, she will hunt you down.
She. Already hunts my dreams, she.
Already. I mean, she's dead.
She's been dead for quite some time.
But no, she her hobby was making porcelain dolls.
Cool but creepy at the same. Time so her little office was
like the shelves of the baby doll.
That is creepy, that's cool, but creepy that is that's that's
probably I don't know if you can get a creepy or hobby.
No, yeah, hers was porcelain dolls.
Hers was literally making porcelain dolls.
I don't know if I could go into that office.
That's it was disturbing to walk past every time.
Do you think, do you think there was ever one that turned its
head? Not that I noticed.
Did you ever like turn around and all of a sudden the the doll
just kind of. Went not that I noticed.
No, it wasn't any Toy Story like Thing or Annabelle or anything
Annabelle favorite. Scary movie by the way.
Yours. Yes, that one scared the shit
out of me. We may have to watch it later.
I love scary movie. Do you not like scary movies?
No, you don't at all. I mean, the last scary movie I
actually wanted to go see was it.
It's a good one. I love scary movies.
In my video I love see I don't know what it is about Pennywise,
but like birthday clowns, I'm terrified of like Bozo like
anything that resembles like a birthday clown horrified.
I will run that direction I. Never picked up on the clown
thing. I hate him.
I hate him minded. I never minded clowns.
And you would think in Chicago that we would be terrified.
Of why? Because it's John.
AC yeah, You think that because he was the killer clown, you
think we would be petrified in that whole region.
But but also, like in the Midwest, we're kind of used to
serial killers. It seems like I mean Wisconsin
all in. Wisconsin in Northern Illinois.
Born and bred. And then and then like the
Wisconsin side of Minnesota, yeah.
Jeffrey Dahmer. All over, for example, Jeffrey
Dahmer would have been Milwaukee.
It was Ed Dean, Ed Wisconsin, though Ed Gean would have been
the one that would have been. I think he was in Minnesota but
near Wisconsin around like the edge somewhere.
I thought he was, I don't know. He was in Wisconsin.
He was somewhere. It was really close.
It's somewhere over there. Yeah.
No, we're very used to serial killers in the Midwest.
It's very sad. So yeah, birthday clown's
horrified of, but something about Pennywise is like, I don't
know, I idolize. Him OK, but original Steve Curry
both side of Tim Curry. All of them.
All of them. And you the new one too, with
Bill. Bill Scarsgard, Yes.
Yes, I love it all. I like them, I don't care for
80s scary ladies. Read the book too.
Is it good? 1000 and some 100 pages.
And it's a spider in the end. That's to give it away.
Sorry. Spoiler alert everyone if you
haven't seen it. The spider is presents itself,
yeah. But it's so it's an entity that
just takes different. Forms entity that represents
destruction essentially. Wait a second.
What one are we talking? OK, it.
I'm sorry. OK, I'm sorry.
All of a sudden for a second I got it confused with the thing
that's a whole, that's a whole. I'm sorry I was getting in my
scary movies. No, but OK, so, but the thing I
want to say about it though, first of all, my second, in my
view on the Second Amendment has changed a lot over the.
Years so right? Yes, it has.
How is this relating to it? Can you give me a bitch?
There is a point continue the beginning of it.
A gay couple gets absolutely. Is it the.
Second one and that's either one.
Yeah, whichever one it is. And the book?
They're gay. Yeah, and in the movie they were
gay. Yeah, but the book is a lot more
graphic. Like more graphic than what the
movie ever portrayed or even thought about portraying.
Like blood and guts or. Sexual like both like on the
verdict. Oh, interesting.
Well, that there was something. OK, so I always have been
staunch against the Second Amendment.
Honestly, I have been. I've always hated the Second
Amendment. I really never quite understood
it. I always felt like Europeans and
people in this world live just beautiful, normal lives without
guns. But there was something about
that movie when that happened. You wanted to go.
I was on one right then. And then, well, it kind of
crossed my mind that, you know, maybe.
It's not a bad idea. Maybe it's not the worst idea
being, you know, minority gay men where something like this
happens. Maybe it's not the worst thing
in the world and in a small town.
But I don't. But it just, yeah, I, I, it kind
of did. I don't want to say my view
changed then, but it really, it really opened my eyes to
self-defense. OK.
And and it was something it was, it's funny you bring up it
because that that was a specific that was a specific scene in it
that really kind of stuck with me.
Yeah. You think it the scary one of
the scariest movies. And that was the part that stuck
with me was those poor two guys. It was.
It was actually just one of them.
Well, in the movie there was a. Couple.
It was a couple, but one of them was being to a bloody pulp and
thrown into the. Rape, right?
No, I know. And.
Was forced to watch right and basically murderer has their
boyfriend. It was awful.
It was definitely the. Book There was a lot of rape
involved too. Yeah, it was a very hard scene
to watch, and apparently a hard scene to read too.
Yeah, I mean, I mean, I had to keep reading though, because I
was very intrigued at. How I never read any Stephen
King. I just have.
I can't read. I haven't, you know, one O 2 IQ.
I was sure hog. I was shocked I was actually
able to get through this one book.
I wasn't even able to get it through Homeless Odyssey back in
like high school. Why do I feel like I actually
did read the Odyssey? Because it was a high school, I
really. Yeah, no, but I think I actually
read that one. I didn't I Cliff note
everything. So let's see, we couldn't do
Cliff notes in my high school be.
Out of your time. No, but there was, there was one
professor or teacher in high school that would go, he would
go and read the Cliff Notes and then he would, he would share
the Cliff Notes with like other teachers and they, it was a
whole coordinated. Yeah, I know, I know.
That teacher, give me some crows.
Crows. No, that's not really a crow
worthy. That's more like.
That's a what? That's a what?
So they yeah, it was like a coordinated effort against it.
I mean, in all I mean retrospect, if for the teachers
in working together and cooperating on getting these
kids to not cheat, like, yeah, but also fuck you teachers.
OK, that's our lifeline are Cliff Notes.
That bad? You're getting the gist of the
whole story. You're still reading.
It's the Cliff notes are still like a mini novel.
Like it's basically summarize. I don't see what's so it's a.
Summarized version of every chapter in that book, basically
OK. Well, it's all, it's all the
important stuff. I don't want the other.
I don't want the other shit. Exactly, I don't need the fluff.
I don't need the. Fluff.
I don't need all those extra words.
I don't want any of it. Terrified for birthday clowns
but love Pennywise. Like if I were to see him in the
streets, I would probably run up and ask for his autograph.
If I saw Annabelle, I'd probably do the same.
Yeah, she'd probably kill me. Yeah, she would see.
I don't know if Pennywise would kill me only because he'd mark.
But Pennywise would like it. It would be like Pennywise would
just take the initiative. Annabelle's lazy.
She's she's, she doesn't know what she's doing.
She's just, she's lazy. She's a doll.
She gets someone else to do her work.
She's a doll. I thought that was Megan.
No Megan's. Megan's a beast.
Megan fucks you up. Yeah, she does.
Megan fucks you up, Annabelle. Annabelle doesn't.
She's. She's not with.
Her, I know she's not really quite with her.
She'll she'll like you'll get by us on the way home or something
like that's what Annabelle will do.
But still my favorite scary movie.
I really have. I really do.
I locked my bedroom door that night like I was a little
creeped out. And I'm not really scared of
scary movies. I love scary movies, but that
one got me. See.
That's the. Dolls creep me out and.
That's the biggest reason why I don't do scary movies is because
I don't like I do the jump scares.
Obviously I get scared in the theater when they do the jump
scares, right when I go home. And even if I watch it during
broad daylight, I don't get scared, I get paranoid.
So. I don't watch a scary movie in
broad daylight. Yeah, I have to wait for night.
That or I have to like just completely enclose the entire
room. Nope.
I can't even watch movies during the daytime.
I need I it's a night time thing.
There's no time to watch movies during the day.
I'm from the Midwest. We don't.
We don't do that. Yeah.
I mean you, you have to work and that's what they'll tell you.
I mean. Work work, work work.
I wish I would. I wish I could my.
Shit, we're working on that. We're we're working on.
Oh yeah, while we're on the topic, I did have a top
interview earlier this week, guys, hopefully they call back.
They said their turnover time is usually like 48 hours, I wrote.
A hell of I wrote a hell of a reference for him on on a
different one too. And they emailed me like the day
later and was like, yeah, we're not going to pick you for.
Position. I hope it wasn't because I I
hope it wasn't because of the reference.
I swear you approved of it. You approved of it if it was
that day. Later.
If it was the reference exact day later approved.
Of it, an exact day later, they said yeah, we're not going to
offer you the position. You approved of it.
And I did. There was some.
It was. Very lovely.
It was very lovely. I I, I, I will.
I do have it saved for when you need another one too, so let's
not forget about that. Oh, thank goodness.
I definitely have it saved somewhere on here.
Yay, thanks. Give me some.
Crows. Oh my God.
Mark, I mean, I love the crows. I really hope the soundboard
actually picks these up. Well OK, so listeners just an
update. We have whatever on our 9th
episode now. I believe so, yeah.
Yeah. And so I think we're gonna do
12. So what for?
The season 3 more episodes, we're gonna finish it up.
We're gonna finish up April and then we're probably gonna take a
break for the summer, and then in the meantime we're gonna find
a better fucking sound board that actually works.
Yeah. I wonder if we can do like a new
sound board with the keeper mics, cuz I actually don't hate
the mics, but like, the mics are great.
It's probably just like a whole kit that we're gonna have to
find, though. I mean, I've been looking for
individual sound boards. I was gonna say, I wonder if we
can just get a sound. Board.
I've been looking for them, but not all of them have the same
ports that the microphones used, like most of them use.
Like the micro link right here. Yeah, that's usually on both
sides. It's not like the amp.
OK. Stick like these ones are so
gotcha yeah, we just I don't know we would just need to find
a different core for them or. Well, I think we can figure
something out. I really think I really, but
these mics are not bad. The quality is actually pretty
decent. I do like them, yeah.
They're. Nice, of course.
Your next topic. Gosh, we have covered.
I did have one more thing. We talked about transportation a
few times. I'm so fucking sick of planes
falling out of the sky. We have got to do something.
This has been this is getting ridiculous.
The amount of plane crashes has been in fucking insane lately.
There has not been any, hardly any plane crashes until Trump
takes over. And even, but even before then,
I feel like there was a private, a lot of private jets falling
out of the sky. I wanna say maybe even before
Trump this was. Happy.
Do you wanna know what? Do you wanna know what I blame
for that? What?
Yellow jackets? The show?
Yes. Why?
I've never seen it. Should I?
What's it about? It could honestly be your horror
like show. OK, it is wild and intense.
So basically there's this high. This is high school soccer team,
girl soccer team, and they make it to championships and they're
on the plane. They're on their like it was a
private school, like it was fancy, like they had their own
money and everything to the point where they had their own
private jet to fly themselves all the way over to like the
nationals, right, Right. And their plane goes down in the
middle of nowhere and they are left to fend for.
Them about this and Christina Ricci's in it.
Yes, and she's really good. Yes.
Yes. Can I spoil a little bit for
you? OK, go.
So the first season I can only watch a few episodes because it
was intense. Intense.
Like at one point there's this girl, her face gets eaten by
wolves, like half eaten off, right?
Gosh. And they think she's dead.
So they do a funeral fire, realize she's still alive, pull
her off the fire, and then continue to sew her face shut
without any anesthetic or remind cleaning the utensils.
Oh my God, remind me this is not.
Apocalyptic, right? This is no, this is modern world
plane crash in the middle of nowhere.
It was based in the 80s. In the 80s.
OK, the plane crash in the 80s. It you could, we could like,
yeah. I know.
Well, I was just gonna. Yeah, I was looking it up here.
I. Think it's on Netflix.
I think I have. It is it Netflix?
I mean, I know it's on Showtime originally, but I think Netflix
had adopted it. I was gonna say, I think I
remember it being like an HBO Showtime kind of show.
Yeah. So I wanted to just inform the
if you've lived under a rock and you didn't hear about the
Lagarde LaGuardia plane crash with the problem was LaGuardia,
LaGuardia, Yeah, LaGuardia. The plane hit a fire truck that
was going across the runway like it was just, it happened to be
there at the same time the air traffic controller was doing the
job of two. It's almost become normal now
with the cutbacks and everything that the FFA is got everyone.
They've got everybody doing 2 jobs now.
Tuesday's not even getting paid right now.
I think so you. Want to know how I know this?
They. What my brother?
I know. Yeah, we he's.
Still not getting paid? And I thought Trump did do an
executive order. I have yet to be, is that not?
Is I think I, well, I think that they were saying Trump did an
executive order, but then everyone's sitting there going,
OK, why did you fucking do this a month ago?
Yeah, if you had the power the whole time, do it because
they're gone. The Congress is gone.
They didn't come to anything. But I think Trump did an
executive order that at least was going to get a lump sum out.
But it is fucking crazy that they still haven't done that.
Because like, if I was working at TSA, I'm sorry, no paycheck,
I'm not going to work. And these well and well, and
that's pretty much what's been going on, but.
Not really, they're like basically forced to go work
according to my brother. And well, I heard that call outs
have been awful. Well, because they're not
getting paid for gas or anything, so.
Yeah, well, yeah, it's just so sad.
But this, this was a bad one. This is really sad because this
was the air traffic controller was working 2 jobs.
He was trying to do handle an emergency with the fire truck.
Yeah, fire truck. And then, I guess, I don't know,
he must have forgot he was landing a plane too or
something. And so then boom, 2 pilots dead
and pilots 2 pilots. The pilots died.
Everyone else actually survived. This was La Guardia.
Yes, La Guardia, New York. Have you ever heard of it?
Yes, OK. And I will say that is a bitch
of an airport. I've never been.
It is a. Stitch up an airport because
there's no subway system, there's no transit system to
LaGuardia unless you're like Ubering or a private car or
something. Probably like $100 Uber.
Yes, it was. It was like a $70 and.
Everywhere else is like 40-50 bucks.
Get the you know I can. Only, Oh no, you just did the
you just did the subway after that.
Well, I mean, I'm just saying the airport always is a steep up
charge. I landed in the JFK and I was so
happy and proud of myself because I was able to navigate
the subway system a pawn first landing.
I can. I can do Chicago's.
I was very happy and proud of myself to do New York's.
I can do Chicago like the back of my hand, which is funny,
lived there, which is funny because it is kind of like a
hand like here's like Michigan, and then it just kind of goes
out like this. And then there's just like one
big red line. It's like the heart, the vein of
the red. No, it sticks up like a big hand
like this. The jugular.
Yeah, well, the the red line goes north to South completely
direct. Yeah.
And a complete straight. It is.
And it's the red line. I always said it's because it's
like the vein. Yeah, the the jugular, the
aorta, Val. No, the artery, it's more of an
artery, not jugular vein. Well, let's just go up so.
The jugulars of like vital 1. Got it.
Is it an aorta? There is, I know, I don't know.
I was just trying to send it 102102 IQ there.
Oh yeah, that's what I was going to say, Speaking of it.
So he got 102. I did mine.
Oh God. And I'm pretty proud of myself
here. We go can I?
Can I say there was a cat? There is a caveat that I didn't
tell you about that though. That was the second IQ test I
took after like spending 40 minutes taking IQ tests because
the first one I never got my result.
Because you had to pay well. Scam.
Because it was a scam and I was like oh man, did this whole
thing and now they're asking for all my credit card like a pay.
Walk. On I'm not doing this.
So I spent another 20 minutes taking another fucking IQ test
and I was like, God damn it, just trying to like get through
it. So I think, I bet you my score
would have been at least 10 points higher on that first one.
I'm going with I'm, I'm telling everyone 112 bucket.
I'm doing it. Or you could just take it again.
No one can stop me. I don't know.
I don't have any time. Take it again for at least the
first time when you're not stressed one more. 3112112.
It's still not. It's still not me, still me.
Still not me though. Still me, I don't care.
Mine was at 1:31. I could go.
OK, you're smart. We get it.
One of us has to be smart. At least they're never gonna
hear that. I know it's so sad.
It's so sad, but I mean one of OK, so how do you mean?
Like we're OK, we're all smart, but in very different categories
of life. Oh God I'm scared to ask what my
categories are. I'm.
I'm sure you know. I'm sure you know.
I have, I have AI have a pretty decent background in
entertainment. That's most of it.
That's, I mean I that's. Like a chunk of it I that's.
I that's got to be a big chunk of it.
That's a big chunk of it. It helps.
It helps being my creative director, producer, create
producer, What she gave me crows.
I didn't want crows for that. No, but yeah, most of it is.
I was going to say like you take you obviously take the cake in a
theater and musicals and all that creative work I want.
To I. Mean.
Heaven forbid she give me a compliment.
I just did. I know, but this is the stuff
we're working on now. I'm not doing a fucking musical.
I'm trying to put a podcast together.
I'm trying to build a podcast from the ground up and you call
my segments boring. I called a segment boring.
Well, I did not I really. OK, taking way too long to get
to the can we? Talk about the measles one for a
second. That was bad.
That one was bad. I will give you credit on that
one. Measles episode was bad, you
guys, it was it was horrendous. You you don't want to see it,
You don't wanna hear it. We might make fun of it one day.
For you. I'm gonna make fun of it now.
That one was. Bad.
I will give you that now. But conversion therapy, that's a
serious subject, and I think the listeners will agree with me.
I bet you you're gonna hear about it in the comments.
Sure, for saying that it's boring.
If we get one, but anyways. If we even get a comment.
Ever. So anyways, this bitch we tried
to record for an episode we've told them about.
I know. I just think it's hysterical.
I think it's hysterical because he started listing the side
effects and symptoms of if you had measles.
Oh my. Fever, chills, red eyes.
Just like any other illness in the world.
Everything. You will suffer from a fever.
Nothing interesting flush, nothing interesting feel like
anal seepage. Nothing interesting.
It was. All the same.
It was just all the same little stuff that you get with
everything. Oh, my daughter.
She's gonna her head down like this.
And I thought, yeah, this, this show is doomed.
Did. I I thought I was just like you
were just you. You had had it, You had had it
and we got 30 minutes. I don't even know how we
stretched 30 minutes out of atrocity because we were OK.
Just so everyone knows, we were trying to talk about reflect on
COVID, crap that happened during COVID, shit that's fucked up now
because of COVID. We did a better episode of it
though. So we did, we did.
We did. We record that one.
But it was awful. Yeah.
The measles 1 was pretty bad. I was just trying to relate it
to the pandemic because the measles, the measles is nowhere
near a pandemic. So I guess I'm not quite even
sure I was really scraping a show together that you.
Were trying it was really. Some OK sometimes.
They. Don't really reach them
sometimes. Well, I'm I'm, I'm just
gesturing for the video. I like, you know, oh.
No, I was meaning like you. You were reaching for that
topic, the Measles I. Thought you were talking about
No, no, no, I was, I was, I was really stressed, but I was, I, I
just want to say that like sometimes in the some weeks in
the news are very dry and then sometimes like this week, it
just comes out of the woodworks. Oh, I mean meet some report
every day something, whether it be a clogged sewage pipe.
No, I know, but I'm not going to.
I'm not going to report on a clogged sewage pipe.
So one day backup we did Christine Ohm's husband.
I'm getting myself a clap for that one.
That was. A good one.
His chest is bulging. No.
OK. Bulging.
His chest is bulging cuz of those big boobs.
Right? OK, let's I should have just
taken the win. Yeah, you should have.
I should have just taken them. Should have.
I should have just taken them. You should have let us up there.
I still have to do my 2 truths and alive.
But I. Did I did them while you were
yapping? Oh about my cuz I always therapy
talk I. Always forget to do.
But no, it was somewhere else. But I always forget to do them
before the show. Yes.
And I was gonna do them, and then you started without me, so
I had. To I mean, it was great
improvising, OK, if we weren't gonna start then we probably
wouldn't start until now. I know and I always put it off
like, no, let's have a drink and you just want to sit out.
Hold on, let me look at my nose. Still trying to try you said
like saying you're going to go to the gym after this, but I.
Am such a procrastinator and so the more you push me the better.
Actually good. So anyways, I'm an accountable
friend. We talked.
About shows and movies and stuff.
So. At one point.
I just, I just put one together real quick.
Yeah, since we and then we talked about later the HBO show
2 Truths. And a lie.
I know I forgot. Apparently I forgot how it
works. I mean you did 2 lies last week.
No, I totally fucked it up. I realized that afterwards.
That's what happens when I try to do it on the during the show,
so I have. Shameless is actually my
favorite drama show. Next.
Changeling is actually my favorite drama movie.
What the hell is Chain Ling? Okay, hold on and then Rent is
my favorite musical. Okay, Rent being your favorite
musical, I believe, and hold on, your favorite.
What was the other two? I'm getting Ling Chingling okay?
You'll know it as soon as I bring it up.
It is a weird name for the movie.
You know what Shameless is? Yes, obviously.
OK, I do know shameless so which I'm not entirely too sure if I
trust that was either between the first one that you said is
the lie, do you? Remember this movie with
Angelina Jolie with the kid? Yeah, they she loses her Kitty,
gets kidnapped in the 20s, and they bring back the wrong kid
and they and they throw her in a psych ward.
They say she's crazy. They try to cover it up.
That's my favorite movie. So there was a version of that,
but it was like I, it wasn't that movie, but there was kind
of like a variation of it. Such a good movie.
I was on the edge of my sea. I don't think I took a breath
that whole movie. So shameless is the lie is.
That what you're going with? Yes.
Shameless and your favorite drama show is a lie.
That's. True.
Oh it is. I love Shameless and I actually
calling that a drama. It's a dramedy.
Actually, it's a dramedy. It's funny too.
I. Have some parts.
It's very sad. It's very gross sometimes too,
but. But it's only showing off like
the nature of humanity. And then what was the movie
Shingling Changeling? That was a lie.
I always wondered why they called it that.
That titled that movie That Way I.
Get like it's like chainmail. It's a really good movie, but
no, that is my favorite movie. Rent is not my favorite musical.
No. Hairspray.
That's fair. Hairspray's 100% my favorite
musical. The Hair.
I have this weird connection with hair.
I put my finger on it. Salon.
So there's that. I love hair.
The music is amazing. The music is so much fucking
fun. Did.
You know when Ariana Grande was in the musical?
Hair, and I actually liked her in that.
I know, but she said that her chewing the gum was messing up
her vocal cords so she had to say that.
So she had to get a particular type of gum that probably.
Didn't have sugar? Some type of sugar.
It was the. It's the sugar fucks up your
vocal cords when you're trying to sing.
Yeah. So, no, that totally makes
sense. Why didn't she could have just,
like, chewed on a piece of cotton or something?
I mean, I don't know, Just like cotton.
I don't know, Just like something a different texture of
my idea. I guess she, I guess she is a
superstar. I guess she can probably find
somebody to track down Sugar Sugarless.
I'm sure she could. I'm sure she has.
And yeah, so sure she has it unlocked.
Hairspray and the message in Hairspray is another one I love.
So it's a great message. It's the coming together people
that love yourself are. Well, yeah.
Essentially, it would mean Tracy Turnblad was the love yourself
before it was cool. And that's our show, guys.
I guess. So that's where we're ending it.
Oh my God. Your favorite non practicing
Mormon and Baptist boy coming to you from the buckle of the Bible
belt. Yay.
I don't know why we have to say that after.
Like, I love it, I'm keeping it. That's fine.
I don't care. It's our thing.
Bye.
