Britney and music!
Game Plan
It’s a week of high stakes and even higher speeds! We’re kicking things off with a deep dive into the escalating ILLEGAL 2026 Iran conflict. Then, we shift gears to a different kind of "circus” as we discuss the latest on Britney Spears, who was arrested for a DUI on March 4th after her black BMW was spotted speeding and swerving on the freeway. Finally, because we all need a mental health break, we close out the show with a conversation about our favorite music.
Is it recording now? Yes, it is recording OK.
Hi. Hello everyone, and welcome back
to Two Twongs and a Lie. I'm Taylor Perry.
And I'm Ian Moon. Really.
That's all the enthusiasm you're giving us.
That's. What we're going to get today.
We've got a hyped up show for everyone and that's all we got,
huh A? Hyped up show.
It is a hyped up show. There's a lot going on right now
there. Is a lot going on.
That's why there's. A ton going on right now.
That's why we're going to like, we're like the the excitement it
needs to build. The excitement needs to build
so. Well, we only have like 45.
I mean an hour let's. Start.
Building. Yeah, no, Start building.
Let's start with your political corner.
Well, if you've been living under a rock, we are officially,
Well, no, not officially, actually.
We have been. We are.
We are. We're at war with Iran, I guess.
I guess that that that is the new thing.
Yes, we are. We are now in World War three.
This is not. This is an illegal war.
I just want everyone to know, first of all, how do you say it?
Do you say? Iran.
I say Iran, you say Iran. Iran.
So I hear people say Iran. I mean, depends on where you're
at in the world. Well, yeah, I guess.
I guess it depends on who you are too.
Yeah, because some people have some.
Wisps well, I think it also depends on how you like what
culture like your ethnicity, if you how you pronounce the
vowels. So I can see why like someone
like Latino might like say Iran, like it kind of does make sense.
But we're white people, so too we.
Too white guys. Iran.
Iran. So I do want to just start off
and let everyone know that this is in illegal war.
Congress did not vote on this. This is Donald Trump's personal
agenda. This is all just.
I still think this is all distraction honestly for.
What? Just like.
Epstein files, I think. No, I honestly think this still
goes back to the Epstein files. I really think that he is just
blowing up the Middle East. There were more files to
distract. OK, yeah.
Where's the Trump files? I mean, there was a lot.
Where's the Trump files? I mean there was a lot released
on Trump recently that was there supposedly exposes him.
I have not heard anything in the news yet.
No, it was all. No, I, I think he's and I still
think that this is all personal agenda though over there because
Iran, Iran had a target on Trump's back.
No, on Trump's back. They tried, they wanted to
assassinate him, all these things.
I mean, so did someone here in America, but they failed.
Unfortunately, anyways, yes, so and yet here we are.
So we are in an illegal war. That's basically just what it
comes down to. This is Congress did not approve
of this. What is the point of our
Constitution at this point? I think we've been registered.
We are at a constitutional crisis.
I don't think people really know that.
They're saying it's not a war. It's not a war.
I guess Israel is the one attacking.
We're just, you know, helping them along and whatever.
But. They're next door.
But we're we're bombing him too. No, definitely.
This is not Israel versus Iran. America versus Iran, not Israel.
It really, it really kind of is. And so no, I mean not kind of,
it definitely is. But I think the biggest thing is
like, there is no plan. No, not at all.
The one that hasn't been in public.
There is no plan. There might be.
There might. Be there's plan, there might be
a plan, but it has not been let known that there is.
Concepts of a plan. That's because there's concepts
of a plan. We don't even know that, but
there's just no, we have nothing's been released on.
Nothing, nothing. Americans are stranded over
there. There's our citizens, our
brothers and sisters are stuck over there with no plan.
They're they can't even get a straight answer.
Germany, the the Netherlands, all these other countries had a
plan to get their people out of there.
They picked them up on buses, They got them out of there, got
them on planes Before any before anything happened, there was a
plan. There is no plan here.
It's not easy to start a war, but it's just insane to try and
end one. I mean, because they all want to
like have them like surrender on each other's terms.
And that's hardly ever going to happen even with like World War
2. Like because I did a report on
this, I remember specifically Japan did surrender or they sent
in like a treaty to America, like saying hey, we surrender.
And basically was the same terms and conditions.
Eventually did take the surrender on, but they still
went ahead and bombed Japan for no reason.
Japan was ready to surrender. They said, you know, yeah, we I
give up. You guys won, but America
didn't. They said they didn't get it in
time, but. Really don't think Iran was
going to have that same attitude.
No, no, definitely. I really just don't think that.
Definitely not. And I think that that's all the
really Dems really want. Like everyone is on the same
page. Democrats and Republicans, you
know, they're the Ayatollah. I always say it wrong, the
Ayatollah Ala Toya. I always was saying Ala toya,
and then I realized that was the Ayatollah, that they took the
Ayatollah out. Everyone's on the same page, but
I think the Democrats just want to know what the plan is before
you go into something so big like this.
Yeah, I don't know. I'm just so tired of hearing
Republicans when I don't see what's so bad about taking out
bad guys, making Democrats look like these awful people that are
all for people being oppressed by the Iranian government.
That's not the case. Those were the same people sick
of hearing people say that it makes Democrats look bad.
Republicans are so good at making Republic.
I'm sorry Republicans are so good at making Democrats.
It's. Kind of like part of their job.
It's in the doctor description. When you sign up to be they're
doing. They're doing a great job
because there's they're not letting the electorate.
Electoral. Elect no.
The electorate, the people, the voters, They're not letting the
people know the behind the scenes kind of stuff.
No. It's and that that is the key
that is making Democrats look stupid.
This is just another great example of it.
And yes, I get that we want to liberate the Iranian people.
Yes, liberty not not that easy. No, of course not.
Liberty not that easy. Liberty.
You think it was easy to get it? Like we had to move to a
different continent to get liberty.
And even then, we still there was still war.
Yeah, exactly. After war, you had to fight for
our independence. And now those were now.
So I mean, yeah, this is got this effects more than just the
Middle East. This is this is going to affect
us every thought everything was expensive now.
I know I mean. It's gonna it's gonna get so
much worse. Gas in a week went up $0.30 on
average, so there's that. According to Miss Bondy,
apparently it was like, it's the cheapest it's ever been, 114%,
she said, according to Donald Trump's plan.
But. That we but the Dow, the Dow,
but the Dow was tanked as well and the Dow was down.
She's not screaming about the Dow now anymore.
Anyways, that has been over. But no, I I have to say at this
point, if he is not removed from office, what is the point of our
Constitution? We are, we are at a
constitutional crisis already. We have a president going to war
without Congress's approval. I agree.
So I agree. I just I don't understand what
the point is. As far as what we are just to
live well, asking that question for a long time.
What is the our government? I mean, it just really makes you
question our government and everything.
I mean, we vote these people in to follow the Constitution.
I'm not talking, I'm not talking Trump talking Congress.
They still, they really aren't following it either.
If this isn't what gets him removed, I don't know.
I don't, I don't think we ever will.
I think we'll have to actually do another, what is it like 2
years and 3/4 of Trump If if, if they don't allow him to go
against the Constitution and get a third term in there.
This is where. We're at.
That's that's my like, OK, so as far as the constitutional
crisis, yes, I agree wholeheartedly because my
biggest issue with it is that he's trying to run for a third
term. And he?
Already has hats made for it. He's not.
No one's following the Constitution anymore.
No one's following the Constitution, But let's not get
a fucking third term. He better not like he must be
real though. Like it's only his
administration that is not followed any constitutional like
outlines or guidelines really. The word that I have been
hearing late, not lately, ever since Trump came into office the
first time, is the word unprecedented.
Literally. And that's exactly what you're
saying. I'm so sick of hearing the word
unprecedented. We shouldn't be hearing this
word every day. Every day the news reporters are
saying this is unprecedented time and it everything new I
said this is unprecedent, unprecedented time,
unprecedented. I started that word.
Can we at least try to like stick to like our job role and
be president instead of unprecedented?
Well, the Supreme Court tried. I mean, the tariff toddler came
back and said Nope, Nope, I'm doing even more terrorists.
I'm sorry, Tariff toddler. The tariff toddler.
Yeah, tariff toddler. Is that going to be the Cheetos
name? No, there's going to be several,
but that's just the one for today.
OK, tariff toddler. That's actually pretty great.
I thought that was pretty decent too.
I've got nicknames for all of them.
That's pretty good. Like spam.
Remember we got spam bonding? Well, I've thought about maybe
spam Blondie. Nah, too much.
Blondie. I love Blondie as the band, so
no, I want to keep the. I want to keep the which.
Hold that note for later too. Oh definitely hold that note for
later I. Am it's in my note?
So that is just that's just my update.
I wish I could talk about more. There's so much to talk about
going on. Christy Noem got fired.
I'm just going to throw that out there.
Thank God. Ding Dong, Ding Dong.
Ding Dong, the wicked witch is dead.
Which one would be the wicked witch?
No. No, because there's something
about Christie. I think Bondy would be the East
and Christie would be the West, which is like wicked witches of
the East and the West. Which one?
Would be I think that and Christie, no one would be the
wicked witch. Of the West.
Of the of the West and this is pre wicked yeah, of course just
looking at no, I'm just. Saying just like wizard.
Of Oz Wizard of Oz I was just. Going to say this is only Wizard
of Oz. Yes, specifically Wizard of Oz
I. Think Christy Gnome would be the
Wicked Wizard, Wicked Witch of the West through the through the
eyes of the Wizard of Oz. Because while I know Bondi is
just completely protecting pedophiles, she is.
There is something about Christy Gnome and the murders of Alex
Pretty and Renee Good in Minneapolis that just vilifies
her. It's not great.
Or there's just something and then calling them domestic
terrorists. It's not great.
It's bad and. It's not great.
Never apologizing for it. Continue that's.
The one thing I'm not a huge fan about these politicians with or
at least any of these local like this administration in general,
they don't. It's not necessarily lack of
empathy #1 but there's also like just no humility.
There's no humility there. And you would think that like to
some extent, to some degree, that they should have at least
an ounce of some type of humility to make improvements on
the for the greater good. But no, they lack, they lack it
all. There's nothing that they feel
sorry or marciful for. So and then, and you know what,
in the meantime, we just lost 92,000 jobs in the country.
So is that where? My literally everything is just
going up in flames. That's where my I.
Really feel like that gas is going to drive up the price of
oil and gas can drive the price of everything.
I mean, yeah, this is it. This is where we're at.
Like I said, there's just so much talk about.
We could talk about politics all day, but we like to keep a nice
variety. A nice variety.
Oh my God, So speaking. So just for just the Googles, I
typed in 2000, like 2000 hit like the year 2000s, and the
playlist covers a Barbie doll. That's the Barbie doll head.
It's kind of funny. Well, I'm a Barbie girl.
I mean, I thought that was like 90s.
And it was, and I think it was like early 90s too.
I don't. Even think that was 90s.
Actually, maybe it was, I'm not quite sure.
I thought it was or 90s. It was definitely 90s.
Yeah, for sure, 1000%. So did you lie to yourself this
week? Did IA few times.
I've been delusional this week. Honestly, what?
Did you lie to yourself? About it and I'm fine.
That ties into exactly the thing that I lied to myself about.
That you're fine. No, I lied that I lied to
myself. That I that Britney is fine,
that Britney Spears is fine. Yeah, she's not fine.
Poor thing. I think we've done this for a
while. She is not fine.
She when she was dancing with knives, sharp butcher knives,
No. And I mean, like she was like
going for housed with them too. That was enough right there.
And and like she's got crazy like raccoon eyes and every
every time you see her now, like she's twacked her makeup is not
she's she didn't look well months ago, a year ago or
whatever. Just downhill.
It's just been downhill. And, well, here we are.
I mean, but let's be real, like she back in 2007, she had a
crisis. She's having a crisis now.
Like it's a regular pattern with Miss Britney.
Well, she does this about every 20 years because when listeners,
if you are not aware, our Miss Britney Spears has has fallen
from a star again. Fallen from her, fallen from her
pedestal. There we go.
She fell from something. She fell off a pedestal, a gay
pedestal that the homosexuals put her up on.
And then she found herself on the jury's and not the jury.
'S No, she's on the opposite side of the jury's hand.
Found herself in court in the victims.
Yeah. Done.
I mean, do we know how long her sentence was or is it just going
to be like overnight? Well, she just, well, she, let's
just start from the beginning. I guess she got caught.
Her BMW was swerving in and out of the lanes.
Was it really ABMW? I guess I think it was a BMWI
think she's a poor. Thing she could do so much
better too. They stole owe her money.
Did but BMW she don't have? Any money and then.
W is pretty nice. This lawyer she's going to have
to pay for, she's a high profile.
I mean, this is it going to be she's a high.
Profile she is, so I hope the lawyers are.
Well I don't know, maybe the lawyer would be.
I wonder if they up charge you for being a celebrity.
I mean, lawyers were already ridiculously expensive for no
reason. So she was swerving and
obviously showing signs of intoxication, and she was taken
into the Ventura County Jail. She was actually released a few
hours later. So she was released already?
Yeah, she's been released already.
She has court later on in May, so she's got a few, a few months
to sweat it out again. I guess it, I guess we just saw
this coming. I did because, you know, her
boys and everything were saying that they're going to be
spending time with her. It was not their.
Loved ones are going to come up with an overdue needed plan to
set her up for success or well-being.
So now they realize that they basically are confirming that
she just unwell. She was not well.
She has not been well. This has been going on for quite
some time now. We knew that though.
I mean, we did at least I guess the.
But I'm saying this confirms it. I mean, this confirms it, that
she it has not been going fine. Yeah, the concert.
Even after the conservatorship. See the conservatorship like,
OK, so the conservatorship was fucked up in the 1st place.
The fact that she couldn't literally do nothing without
permission. And then once it was like, I
guess I don't know what, because once it was like once the
conservatorship ended and then we kind of, we knew she was
going to spiral. We already knew she was going to
spiral right after, So what really set her up for failure
was the conservatorship in the 1st place.
I think because if that was never there, she might be
somewhat on a level headed celebrity status right now if it
wasn't for the conservatorship in the 1st place.
But. I think this started a long time
ago, way before I think she was a child performing robot.
She was, and I think she was too.
Again, I guess I just, we have to go back to Hilary Duff,
praise Hilary Duff for never losing her mind because all of
these child stars really, actually, I would, I would
actually say it. It's probably we, we don't know
everything of what happened to Britney.
We're not going to know everything that happened to
Britney probably decades after she's gone.
Maybe we'll find out the deepest, darkest.
Secrets of the truth comes out when they die.
But this is almost a modern day Judy Garland kind of situation.
I think a child star that just grew up to just be tragic.
I, I don't think we're at the tragedy point of Judy Garland.
Obviously she like. Over killed herself.
But definitely. But I think that this is like
similar. I think that they just abused a
child and maybe she wasn't abused the same way as Judy
Garland, but I think I think it was probably almost there.
Let's say trauma for sure. I mean abuse, I'm sure to some
extent, but I don't know what. Drew Barrymore, they used to
tell her, I read somewhere they used to tell her her puppy at
home died to get her to cry on camera.
I mean, I mean, like they use they use disgusting.
So I mean, it's not like abusive like they didn't they used to
smack the shit out of Judy Garland.
We saw that in the video. They gave her pills.
They gave her to say that was like they gave her.
They gave her all kinds of crazy stuff.
Cocktail was the IT was ran of like the speed.
And what they did to do bury more, you know, it's still
abuse. It's emotional abuse, I guess is
what you would say ethically completely horrible.
But I, I just this is where we're at with Britney, too.
That's sad, but it does kind of like segue us into our actual.
It's a sad day. It's just a sad day for all
Britney lovers. Basically every millennial gay
point out there. Could you imagine if that was a
gay cop that like? He wouldn't.
He wouldn't have done shit. Keep that you love Chris Cocker.
What'd you watch? Chris Cocker.
It's. Me, this is not a theater pocker
stuff. We don't need to sing here.
It's music. It's the music episode.
It is. It doesn't mean we need to sing.
We're focusing on the gay cops picking up Britney Spears.
They wouldn't even pick her up. I would fangirl the fuck out of
that moment. Be like, like Britney.
I said. I didn't know.
I don't want to do this. I'm so sorry.
I wouldn't, that's what I'm saying.
I would throw her ass back in the car and we would drive away
together and I would lose my job.
I'd risk going to prison for Britney fucking Spears.
Just like an I would. Never take her to jail.
Yeah, the cop is fully like patting her down.
She's walking away with a handcuffs like I did that.
Oh my God, I know she would. She would own that situation
with me. She'd be like, get in the car,
we're going shopping. The cop was game, yeah, but he
wasn't. I'm assuming he was not.
So what is your favorite Britney song?
We need to like quiet down a little bit.
What is your favorite Britney song?
The question I need an question. Do you need a second to think
about it? No, because it's.
It's either a it's. A OK, I have two questions for
you. Your favorite Britney song.
OK, most underrated Britney song you think is the most
underrated, which it can be the same as your favorite?
Because actually, my favorite and my most underrated are the
same. OK, so my it was our third one
is what was the third part of the question or no?
There is there is a couple other questions, but let's.
Just start with those two. For that, I think the most
underrated, it's the most heartbreaking song, but I think
that the most underrated 1 is I think everything every time,
every time. I don't think that's underrated.
I think everyone loves that. Everyone.
Loves that, but it's not like I mean, it was a.
Huge hit back in the day like 2003 and 2. 1004 I still think
it's underrated I love it it's. I can't accept that answer.
No one really. I guess when it comes to every
time it it it was. Popular for its time, but it did
kind of fade away. It's not one song.
That's not what you. Play on the radio.
You don't play it on the radio. Like, no, because that's the
song you play when you're playing through a heartbreak.
Drag Queens aren't performing it in the clubs.
It's not a good, it's not a good song.
It's a hard song for someone to yeah, it's a depressing to do
anything with. When you're when you were broken
up with, that's when you play every time, right?
No one likes to listen to that every day, right.
So but as far as like favorite Britney song?
Favorite of all time? I need to know it.
It's a tie between like two or three.
OK, let's let it go. So I truly do enjoy this.
Is a good one. Yes, with Ke$ha.
And Nicki Minaj and Nicki well remix kind of cancelled.
I mean, that's a good. It's kind of cancelled now.
We do not approve of Nicki Minaj on this podcast partly.
But yeah, that would probably that's tied with either Till the
World end. No till the world end was like.
No, that was a fabulous song. That was a fabulous song.
And then that. Was a good album.
Femme Fatale. That was a good album.
And then probably either I wanna go or that was.
Also femme fatale. Yeah, it was.
Or what was it Sleepover or Perfume?
Or Those were two different songs on the same.
Album Perfume was a song on Femme Fatale.
Yeah, that must have just been your album.
That was your Britney album. I mean work bitch too is iconic
and will always and forever be. Well, yeah, I think that that
was, I think that was fun. Yes, it was.
Was that femme fatale too? Pretty sure.
I'm pretty sure he too. Yeah.
I'm not sure on the. That was my that was had to be.
Well, it was that one. It was that album.
And then the one of her very first ones like Hit Me baby One
More time was like those were the her peak moments for me at
least. Well, but I think Britney, her
albums always had some sort of like a strategy to it because
there was always about 3 good big pop anthems that on there
and then the rest were all just kind of like weird filler songs
sometimes. However, Femme Fatale was a good
Yeah that one was a good one. Where there like that was the
one album where like every song was so good.
I will agree with you. I almost forgot about that one
actually. So my favorite song and my
underrated are actually the same one.
Which is. Now I'm stronger than yesterday.
I love that one. No, I mean, it's why are you
giving me attitude over that song?
It is a it is because underestimated pop power
anthems, pop power anthem. I am a slut for a good pop
power. Underestimated or underrated?
Under underrated. You said underestimated.
Did I say underestimated? It meant underrated.
Well, they're I mean, they're kind of the same.
Not really. It's an underestimated song.
OK, I meant underrated for the record.
OK, so I, I, I that one is, I'm going to have to go with that
one because I don't, I never hear anyone talk about it.
I think it was a great song. It actually is almost like kind
of a sequel to Baby One More Time.
I don't think anyone realizes that sometimes.
I think you're also trying to find like, no?
It she says in the song, My loneliness isn't killing me
anymore. That is such an illusion to baby
One more Time. It's like the sequel song.
I think that's cool. OK, stop giving me that look.
I think it's a great song. And she does a chair dance.
She does a chair dance for God's sake.
Am useful or she does a chair dance.
No, but this was like did she do one before this?
Because stronger would have been like oops I did it again album.
Wouldn't it be circus? No circus would have been after
that. No, no, no, no.
I need you. I need.
Yeah. I should have had you like, look
up Britney history. I looked up, I looked up,
actually, you told me to look up music and I did.
And I have a whole list here in front of me and I'm ready to go
through. No, that's fine.
Go for it. We're on Britney right now, so
I'm giving you, you have your time.
For it now, yeah. I'm letting you have your time.
So I reclaiming my time. I'm reclaiming my time.
I hear that a lot on the news too.
Because nobody can keep their ducks in a row, no.
One knows how to wait their turn.
Nobody knows how to wait their turn anymore.
There's just no decorum. That's our government anymore.
Anyways. That's a whole again.
We could rant about politics all day.
There's but no This is Brittany's time.
So what was your first Britney song like?
I've been there from the start. Because I'm, I mean, my first
song was probably hit me maybe one more time, no?
But like what? That was the song.
Like where you first heard Britney or like you first
noticed Britney? That was the first.
I was like, I think that was the first time.
No, I saw that poster first. I saw Britney poster first I've
heard in that like latex cat suit.
And I was like looking up at her.
I was like. I want her cat suit.
Was it orange? Yeah, so that would have been
oops, I did it again. With the long hair, the long
straight hair. It was.
Oops, I did it again. So that was my first exposure to
Britney, and I forgot how old I was, too young.
But I looked up at the poster and it was like that, like aha
moment, like when you see a kid in a superhero.
It was kind of like that where I was like, and then I said out
loud, I want to make her my wife.
Yeah, I I bet. Like I said, I've been there
from the start. So Baby One More Time was and
will be the first always be the first song that I ever
recognized her. Found out about her through some
probably CD commercial on the TV.
Back in the day when you actually had to buy the entire.
Album the entire entire I know I remember when I finally got into
high school you could iTunes, you could buy the actual just
one song. It was almost still more of a
pain in the ass though. I would rather just bought the
album. Or since we're like talking
about, so this is, I don't know if you did this, but back in the
day when we were like still kids and didn't have a job and still
poor. I mean still now poor, but.
And still act like kids. Child at heart, young at heart,
but I would go to like YouTube Converter and like download all
the songs off of YouTube and just throw them in my iTunes.
Oh see, we did something way worse for our computers when we
were kids. We had this thing called like
Bear Share or Kazaa and it was basically remember it just
basically gave your computer aids.
It just like as soon as you downloaded it, your computer had
about six months, but say had about maybe even maybe six
months on the long end before your computer just slowly it was
just cancer for your computer. It really was.
But no, so I I have been there through the whole Brittany
thing. I think what attract attracted
me to her most was that was the first time I ever kind of like
started noticing like theatrics, like the production every just
the whole production level was unmatched.
It was good. You know, I think that that was
when I started realizing that I was going to eventually going go
into some sort of entertainment as well.
You know, I've been doing musical theatre since 8th grade.
But you're an insurance adjuster.
I am, but I do musical theatre on the side, so I've done like
20 shows and I'm doing a podcast.
This is entertainment. Yeah.
I've done like 20 shows which. I did Rocky Horror one year like
Rocky Horror. Picture show, like live.
Yeah. OK, OK.
In that vein, let's talk about that because I have been to
Rocky Horror. Performance not here.
Was it not? Well, OK, but was it a Rocky
Horror performance where they like they have the movie going
on in the background in a movie theater?
OK, but you know they do that, right?
Which is stupid to me. It is a little silly.
That's so stupid to me. It is, you know.
I mean, I've been to a couple of them actually, but so please
tell me about those Rocky Horror.
So I was in Rocky Horror Picture Show.
But you were the blonde guy, weren't you?
Actually no. I.
Was the hot blonde guy. I was not the Frankenstein, no,
I was actually just ensemble. You wouldn't have been able to
wear his outfit, you'd be falling out.
I mean, you're not wrong. You would not.
No, I was just part of the ensemble.
It's always fun. It's sometimes fun being part of
the ensemble. Which I was not mad about.
I was actually having a great time because our frankenverter
was ginger men. I'm a little past the ensemble
days. I either get a part or I'm not
doing it. Oh.
See, I didn't really care. I mean he.
Asked me to do it like I'm. Really begging.
I don't do ensemble parts. Anymore they were like begging,
like begging me to like, you should do it, come do it.
And I was like, I don't really do theater and I don't do it
now. And I was like.
They don't do plays either. Then I was a standout.
I hate plays. I was the standard and the
ensemble. But anyways, back to.
I mean, I guess it's still. Brittany's time.
Yeah. OK, cool.
Back to Brittany. She's had a rough, rough week.
We need to give her this. Brittany, we love you.
We support you. You are our.
You are well. You're my everything.
I don't nobody yet, but. She was for a hot minute.
She was my everything for a minute when I was like 6.
Did you ever make it to any of her concerts?
Yes, actually when I which. 1. The Vegas one, Her Vegas show
was, yes, it was a huge deal. I wished, I kind of wished I
would have maybe gone and see another.
One like me and my straight gay best friend, like gay straight
best friend Peyton, he was like we were like obsessed with her
and Betty White. I don't know why or what it was
about those two, but. That is quite, quite the duo.
Yeah, but like very iconic, both of them in very different ways.
Like so with him and I were we went like I think it was like
the first week or something that she opened in Plan A Hollywood.
We went to go see her. Oh, that's so cool.
So I I actually got to see the circus tour twice and I.
Did I do like 1? Did she do the same city in?
She came back. She, she added on to her tour
like 6 or seven months later. And then she came back to
Chicago at the Allstate Arena. I know Allstate.
Allstate. What's in your pocket?
Nothing because that place is fucking expensive.
I mean 12-15 dollars a beer back then.
What kind of beer? Bud Light, you know, Yeah, it
was horrible. Yeah.
So I did see the circus tour twice.
She was amazing. She was up and moving back then.
You have to remember this was 2008, 2009.
So she was still up moving and dancing.
She was moving. When she was at fun in
Hollywood, she was moving, then she was bucking.
She was bucking. Not like she used to.
I mean, I don't know that I was too young.
I was too young. I know still young he loved her.
That make me still young. Start your night cream now
bitch. I have good you should.
And I just started Botox too, so.
You did the you're doing Botox. I've already had two sessions.
You have granted they've been like, I haven't been going like
every three months like you're supposed to.
I kind of just go like when it when it happens.
What I've done 2 sessions of Botox.
I was wondering why you look so fabulous.
I just didn't want to tell you. Thanks, I didn't want.
I don't want to give you 2. I don't want to blow up your
head quite yet. I mean, I already have you.
Go on you. Already I know that's so it
makes sense. I don't blame you.
So I had a confession to make like literally most of my face
is fake as well. I'm not surprised.
Like I get Botox in my chin. I'm not surprised fillers in my
cheeks. I get fillers in my jaw, my
lips. I got my lips done.
Kind of like that's what stood out to me most was the cheeks.
And also your sniffy's profile was kind of old.
I'll confess it. I don't care, I'm fine with it.
I mean, I'm not mad about. It I'm not, I'm not hiding.
Like I literally whenever someone's like we're having a
conversation and like like how old are you?
I was like guess and they always, I love playing that
game. I know they're always under
guess. I'm like, oh, thank God Botox is
working. I played a 17 year old last
year. I know you told in my last
musical, the Prom, I played a 17 year old.
They had a 40 year old being 17. I am.
Not 40, just your OK. That's how I was started taking
applications for a new podcast host.
All right, so is it Britney Howard still or?
Not done yet with her. I have what?
I have one more question. Yeah.
If Britney could make music her own way and produce it herself,
what genre of music do you think Britney would make?
I think she'd stay in Pop still. You think she was still stay in
pop? She would stay in pop, maybe
have like one or two country songs on it, but as she would
mainly stay in pop I feel. I think I'm I think I'm just
trying. I think I'm relating this to
Jessica Simpson a lot only because I saw that she I never
really I Jessica Simpson is a good singer but.
She wasn't known for her singing, though she.
Wasn't known for her singing, however have ever heard her sing
musical theatre, which is a completely different style of
singing. Like different different like
mouth shapes and vowels. I don't think you're considered
a classically trained singer if you're a musical.
The diffusing musicals the only way to get like I think to the.
Classical level is if you take like opera and like.
Yeah, that's see, but you're kind of almost there because you
still got like the long vibrato. Anyways.
Jessica Simpson, she can, she can fucking sing when it comes
to musical theatre. I mean, there's videos of her
out there just absolutely killing it when it comes to
musical theatre. But her pop music, yeah, like I
said, she wasn't, she wasn't really known for.
She was just kind of a pretty face that was there and she I
think, I think it's kind of the same thing with Britney.
I think that if she were to break into like the musical
theatre same because she was a dancer, that's you know, so she
and that was I think that was actually always her passion.
She was always very hands on with all of.
Her music videos and I think that that would I think it all
would have translated super well to musical theater.
I mean, she put on a show and I ultimately think that that is
what what gave her the success over like Christine, if we're
going to put him put it into perspective.
I don't think there's a comparison.
There's no comparison between her and she.
Blew she. Blew she.
She blew Christina out of the water.
She blew Christina. She's so dirty.
She blew her. This is Brittany's Reclaiming my
time. Reclaiming my time.
Girls don't tell that we heard you the first time.
Oh, your room's so big, it echoes.
It does lightly, I'm not gonna lie.
I was gonna say we should do it at your place next week.
Yeah, we can do that. We can do that.
Well, that is actually all the everything I have on Britney.
So we can definitely just move on to music in general though.
We can just talk about some music.
I'll let you take with this one, like let tell me about your
music. I think that we need to remind
the listeners that you and I don't necessarily know each
other that much. Like we are actually learning
about each other on air, which I actually think is really cool.
There can't be that many podcast hosts out there that do this
because they're probably all like best friends.
They know each other for years. That is not the case with US
listeners. Like we are actually two or
three months beforehand. We literally, we're literally
still getting to know each other on air in front of everybody.
Yeah. I know.
And we're going to get video soon too.
Then we'll then we'll really be in front of everybody.
True, and we were supposed to have video this week, but you
know my computer's shout out on us anyways.
So music, Yes. So tell.
Us about some music you'd like. I would.
I want to hear about you. OK, so when you said to look up
music, mind immediately went to the greatest decade for music,
which was the early 2000. I would.
I wholeheartedly agree with that I.
Think that was the best decade for music?
Hearted a little good. Some good 80s Oh sure, see, but
most of the good like thousands like songs that some of the best
remixes were from the 80s Yeah, so.
They redid the songs. Hand in hand.
The one I can think of right now, I don't know if for Pitiful
Me by Linda Ronstadt would have been these, but they redid that
song and that is one of my favorite songs.
The one. Is a 90s country song.
Terry Clark redid that song, if you remember.
Her I do barely so one of my favorite like kind of like
remixes. It wasn't even in like a major
like pop artists album. It was in a film.
A film. What was it?
So it kind of goes along with your musical theatre, but not
really. It was I Need a Hero.
Was it Jennifer Saunders and Shrek 2?
I don't know that one. You don't.
It's Shrek. Oh my God, that's like the best.
OK, I'm sorry. This is like it is.
I'm so sorry. Like I love I need to hear the
original, but this like blew it out of the water.
Like it was very much a theater production style.
Like I need a hero. Like you need to watch it.
I will pull it up for you at the end of this.
That's totally fine. Like it is so good and so funny.
If we're talking about like a favorite song from a movie.
Oh, I have several. I have to.
My favorite well, and I remember having AVHS and I would replay
it this part over and over and over as a kid because there was
no iTunes. There was no there wasn't even
ACD for the song, but the first Hocus Pocus, the song that Bette
Midler sings I'm sorry to spell on you.
That's a great one. I rocked out to that song, I
think, well, I I mean, I rocked out to that movie my whole life.
I still rock. Everyone does movie but every.
Good homosexual still does. That that would be my favorite
song, movie, song, song movie, whatever do.
You want to know what's so hysterical though?
So I showed my nephew Hocus Pocus and mind you he's only
like barely 2 so when? He wasn't scared to death.
No, he was all inches away from the screen.
And so you know how like the credits song is like that song,
like I put a spell on you. He's like dancing to it.
And then he tries to strike a pose on that last note.
It is amazing. Like I was so happy.
I was so happy. I was like, yes, you go, nephew.
Happy gunkle moment It's. A funkle.
Not gunkle, but a. Funkle.
I've not heard of a funkle. A fun uncle.
Why can't you say fun gunkle? I'm a fun gunkle.
I mean, I'm a great uncle, so Funkle.
Yeah, you do get to see the your nieces and nephews.
Yeah, how many nieces and. Nephews I only have two nephews,
one for my sister and one for my brother.
Do you get to see them more often than mine?
Mine are back in Chicago. I try to see them as much as
possible, but I have two nieces so 1 is going to be let's say I
think she's 5 now. I.
Think that's perfect because my first nephew is like 5 too.
Yeah, 5 And then we got. We have Mila, she was just born
in July and she has the biggest bluest eyes that nobody else has
in my family. My nephew does 2 biggest bluest
eyes. Anyways, so onward with the with
the music. Subject are you, since we're in
like the early 2000s, one of the best I think lyrical wise, like
lyrics go Bedrock by Young Money productions was.
I'm not familiar. How are you not familiar?
Call me Mr. Flintstone. I can make your bedrock.
I know that part. That's the most like, I think
it's the most iconic. Like lyrics?
Yeah, that part. You tell me that part.
I know that one. I guess I do know that.
Song call me Mr. Phone so I can make me a bedrock iconic or or
or or or. I did like three O 3 love yeah
like one year. It was the only year I went to
warp tour and they were headliners and I was so happy.
I was so happy I went. I didn't mosh but like it was
like one of the best experiences I've ever had so.
You know why they're called 3? That's three.
Three. No, I don't know.
Well, my cousin actually knew them or was friends with them or
something. Went to school with them out in
Denver. Three O 3 is the area code.
That's hysterical. That's why they're called three
O 3. He explained it to me one time.
That's so funny. Yes, they they weren't.
Around for that long though. I3.
No, it was just. Like really to truly, honestly
those two albums and then they kind of fell off.
That it would, yeah. They weren't around for that
long. Do you want to also?
Did they do shut up and dance? No, they don't.
The moon. I think, OK, so this is one of
the biggest reasons why I'm mad at Katy Perry.
Sorry Perrier, But the biggest reason why I hate going there?
The only reason why I hate her. Listen, it's been a long week.
Do we really have to go there? Yes, because my first kiss,
Ke$ha's original track, amazing. Then Katy Perry had to come in
and try to like do her version, and I'm so sorry.
It lacked. It lacked a lot.
I think the critics said otherwise because that was a
huge hit. Yeah, with Ke$ha.
Are you talking about kiss to girl?
No, wait, what are you talking about?
My first kiss went a little like this.
And twist and twist. Wait, hold on.
We need to get this straight. If you're attacking my girl, I
want some facts. What is my first kiss?
Oh, it's 33. OK, got it.
Three featuring Ke$ha, but then Katy Perry came in like a year
or two later and did her version with it and it's not that great.
My first she she, they did they redid this song.
She did redid the song with 303. Yes, because Ke$ha was going
through the entire lawsuit with her label company or label at
the time. I I guess I didn't know.
About that, yeah, I was very upset.
Interesting. Well, and then starstruck by
them as well was like. I'm going to pretend like you
didn't come from my girl and we're going to continue.
The show No, she's the reason she's that's the biggest reason
why I'm in that she lost my phantom because of it.
Because she tried to like Trump over Ke$ha, and Ke$ha was my
diva. I, I they used to be, they used
to be friends. Yeah, they were friends at 1:00.
Because Katy Perry got Ke$ha in her I kiss no waking up at Vegas
music video. She was in I Kissed a Girl.
I thought it was waking up. She was an I kissed a girl.
That was one of them. She might be in Waking Up in
Vegas. Ke$ha can be seen in the I
Kissed a Girl. You can't really tell it's her,
and you don't even really see her that much.
It's just that do you know? And do you know what?
Katy Perry's Katy Perry's first music video ever was.
Hot and cold. No.
No. What was that?
She actually appeared in that Gym Class Hero song Girlfriend.
I said take a look at my girlfriend.
Take a look at my girlfriend, Girlfriend.
She's the only one I got bought it on.
She actually that is her first music video that she ever
appears at because she was dating that guy from Gym Class
Hero. She does come in.
She used to these great guys. And then who?
Who else was there? I do love a good flow rider, my
God. I love Flow rider.
Yeah. Or you do love Flow Rider.
If you won't know what's so sad. He does any of those songs.
I love them. What's that one?
OK, so I'm gonna give you some credit back with Miss Perry.
So sweet of you finally. That's only 5 episodes in.
Just a little bit. I can't give you too much,
though. I was the one with Kanye West.
Yeah, that one, that was actually a really good song.
I enjoy that one very much. But that was also like the
beginning of the downfall of Kanye West.
Full person. I don't know if you knew that.
No, but he's awful. God awful.
Disgusting. But that was like the one song
where I was like, OK work. He's actually kind of decent in
it in ET. Well, great song.
Great song. I just hate Kanye.
Same, but like it was a good song.
That's Hannah Got the disco? Yes, they're a good one.
For the yeah, for the Seeny Weenies.
So my parents went to their concert one time thinking it was
a disco concert. They they read that I didn't
tell you this story. Oh.
That's funny though. That's a good one.
That's funny, my parents got sit down to Texas.
My dad had to work. Which part?
Of the office. College Station, College Town
and so. That's just sounds that.
Awesome. He got he got hurt.
Yeah, I'm not quite sure. I think it's on the border
actually, I'm not quite sure, but he got hurt during the
summer and couldn't work. So they and and during the
winter you can't really work up north a whole lot on
construction. Because it's freezing.
It's. Freezing and snowy.
So to make up for that, they sent him down.
The union sent him down to Texas to work.
They went and they went to, I guess they were just want to go
out one night and go to a disco concert.
But they missed the, the panic at the part and they, they were,
they thought they were going to disco.
So they were, they're like looking around.
They're like, God, there's a lot of young people here for a disco
concert. My mom was very confused.
You know what's kind of sad though?
What? Yeah, sorry.
Changing topics, changing artists too.
H wood was like a hit. Was like a one hit wonder two
who H Wood. You totally interrupted my
story. I did, I did.
I did, I did. I forgot.
Anyways, my parents went to the concert and then they actually
had a good time. What's his name?
His name, his name. The best one is Panic at the
Disco. The leader.
What's his name again? Isn't that the Jared Leto guy?
No. No, sorry.
That's like the different. Band and in Yuri that's so
beautiful. His voice is outstanding.
Like just so insane that like I think if it can keep my parents
entertained that I have no idea who he is, no idea where they're
even at at this point and they still are coming out of that
concert going. Wow, that was awesome.
ANYWAYS, OK, move on to your next topic.
My nephew likes to say awesome. That's one of the only words he
knows. Awesome.
She says it like that. She was like and then so back to
H Wood. He was kind of like a one hit
wonder of the time of the early 2000s.
But he does have one of my favorite songs, which is Could
it be You Who? The fuck is this?
H Wood. H Wood, I hear.
I'll play a little bit of sample.
Hopefully the mics don't pick it up because I don't want to be
copyrighted. But you know, yeah, one second
this hoe. Just like Rihanna, like a go go
girl. H Wood yes, I see it.
It's, it's rap. See, I don't do rap.
It's so good. It was such a great song.
I. Don't.
I don't, yeah. I just don't need don't do any
of that. That was so bad.
I think I'm starting to think we have very different tastes in
music. Slightly, but but that wasn't.
This was early 2000s, remember? Like my music tastes like change
and evolve. So what are you listening to
nowadays? Nowadays it's a lot more house
and electric. There we go.
That's what I wanted to hear. I can get down with that.
That's where I'm at. Yeah, house and electric, I'm
really like more into now. Like what was it was this one
artist that I recently found not too long ago.
What's his name? It's here somewhere.
It's. Where'd it go?
Where did it go? OK it.
Went, it went. It went, it went.
OK, so it's his name is called Tobias.
Tobias Slaps is his stage name. And I kind of like that name.
I love the name Tobias. But so there was this one song
that showed up in my Discovery Weekly on Spotify and it was
actually really, I loved it so much.
But then I started to like actually pay attention to the
lyrics. And I'm not hating on the song
because of it, but it sounded like he was like a more
Christian themed artist Bass. The.
Mormon. Christian?
No, just Christian. A Mormon Singer.
No, just Christian. It's a Mormon.
No, it's not. I don't know.
I don't I didn't do research on him.
I don't know but like the lyrics do some he's.
From Salt Lake City. No, I don't know.
I didn't. Like I said, I did research on
him. I didn't have no idea.
No idea, but like some of the lyrics, how cute.
Yeah, it's very, it's very God friendly.
And I'm like. How heavenly are you?
But the songs don't like the beats don't sound heavenly
though the same. Also, another one I've been kind
of like recently discovered was Queen Herbie.
Queen Herbie. Yeah.
Queen Herbie. Are these people that you're
listening to? They're just like these movies,
like brand new people. Look all these up while we go.
I was not prepared for any of them.
Queen Herbie. But Queen is spelled with AV so
well. Her name is actually Amy Noonan.
Well, her stage name is Queen Herbie.
It is like I said, I didn't do anything good at that.
Like I didn't like I didn't look at any of these.
She's. From Seward, NE, that sounds
like the most boring place. But I mean, have you The one
song is called Aura Poppin. She's from Carmen.
Carrera. I'm just kidding.
She. First gained famous part of the
music duo Carmen. Oh, I know who this I love
Carmen. I didn't know that this was the
same girl. Yeah.
Queen Herbie. Let's get up.
Let's get on it. Don't you leave me broken
hearted. Yeah, but now she's like gone on
to better, better things, like Laura Poppins.
No, but I guess I, I guess I, I guess I was a little up.
To the party. Harsh.
While I was a little harsh on you, I'm slightly a hard time
about all these names and these people I don't know, and I do
know them. So she's solo now?
Yeah, she's solo as Queen Herbie.
Oh, that's kind of cool. I did like her back in the day.
And was it Nick Noonan? Was that her?
I do believe so. I don't know.
I don't know if. It's her husband.
No your name. Do.
You wanna? OK, so now I'm gonna give you a
song that'll make you cry. I'm not gonna play it.
We're gonna play it like after. I need to look up who the guy
was in Carmen. OK, you do that.
Carmen, it is. Nick.
Yeah, Husband and wife duo. OK.
Anyway. Take care of you.
Anyways, so this song that'll make you cry, I'm not gonna play
it now because it is very heart wrenching.
I probably will. If you have any relationship to
your mother, you will. She's listening.
So I have to say. Hi, mom.
OK. I'm just kidding.
I love my. Mom, no.
If you have any relationship to your mother, this song will make
you cry. It's by Lanny.
Cry. We're not.
We're Well, I guess I'm not gonna.
Play. We're not gonna play it from.
The end of the pod. I'm not gonna cry, no.
No, I'm not gonna play it for you because I don't want you to.
Like, I don't want you to be embarrassed about your tears,
but it's called if this is the last time.
And that's all I'm gonna say. I'm gonna play for you when we
stop, when we're off air. Oh, OK, good.
All right. So I was gonna say another.
They can hear it. No, no we're not.
They're not allowed to. Another good one is Miss Gaga
and Die with a Smile. That's a good one that I've been
listening to lately. Miss Gaga.
But you mentioned like dance, EDM and stuff.
I, I, I'm kind of there too, actually.
I love EDM, dance, dance pop, pop, bubblegum pop and he can
pop. What's bubblegum pop?
Bubble gum pop like teenage pop music, like high school.
I like Britney Spears back in the day.
So Sabrina Carpenter today I like, I would say yeah, yeah, I
would say bubble. That's pure bubble gum pop for
sure. Ari Ari Ariana used to be pretty
good. Bubble gum poppy.
Then she went to theater. Yeah, I'm glad she did that.
She's pretty good at it, actually.
I've liked her more since she got into the theater stuff,
actually. Wasn't a big fan of her.
Back in the day. OK, so lesbian.
OK, confession. I truly did not care about
Rihanna until I saw her SNL skit where she like did the
impressions of all these other female singers.
Ariana does that too. Yeah, that's what.
I'm saying, yeah, that's what I'm talking.
About yeah, they're good at that.
The second she like, I saw that, I was like, OK, I'm gonna give
her the credit she actually deserves.
Did some research on her and she actually been through some shit,
man. She's been through hell and
back. I know.
I'm so sad. Like, I mean, good for her for
coming out of it like on the other side, but like Jesus
Christ. A lot.
And you know who else I just found out has been through a
lot? And I had no idea.
Actually, Christina Applegate, I saw that she was on.
I literally saw that today. She was just on The View.
You saw that on The View. No on like news, on like a
magazine. I all coming up because she was
just on The View yesterday. Yeah, or maybe the day before
something. She's been like raped or
molested by her family and like she's had cancer.
Now she's basically kind of dying of Ms. Seems that poor.
Girl, I know Applegate, we love you.
Anyways, so as far as music goes though, do you know what house
music is? Because I'm finding that not a
lot of people know what the actual genre of house music
what? Kind of music is what kind of
house music are you referring to?
Because there's house that's in like White Party gay house or
house as in like just soft tempo I.
Have a definition in front of me directly from whatever AI hold
it off of. But still Chicago thing.
Actually, I and I always. Kind of always knew that because
house every time Anytime you say house to someone that's not from
Chicago, they have no idea what you're talking about.
So it is a thing. House music is a foundational
genre of electronic dance music, EDM that emerged from Chicago's
underground club scene in the early 1980s.
I was not alive back then. No joke.
Characterized by. A repetitive.
Or 4 on the floor beat is what it's called 4 on the floor and
it has so it has a four count beat just to, you know, it's
like this a regular like tempo that most so there's always
that. Going out, which I guess maybe
EDM. Doesn't have or the other
genres, but everyone has a tempo.
Every song has a tempo. Heard it before.
I know what it's talking about because I was.
Just so interested in what the difference is between EDM and
house and all like the little genres.
And it is a thing because like when you do listen to house
music, there is like a four count beat, just a regular 4
count beat going out in the background the entire time.
So they do have that like satisfaction and there's like a
tempo. Speed of 115 to a. 130 beats per
minute. So was satisfaction under the
house genre satisfaction. Would that land under the house
genre? What's satisfaction?
What satisfaction? The song Push me.
And then just touch me till I can get my satisfaction.
Have you not hurt Becky? That is.
Where's my? Cricket, it says.
No cricket, but it's a din. It's fucking crows.
That's just as good. Like crows, we need to use our
sound effects more. We need to I.
Need to get it fixed, don't work.
I mean, they did the listener did the listeners.
Even hear that it did OK so it did that one sample time I did
it but it. Didn't like do it the other so
but this is satisfaction working on it guys don't give up on us
yeah, don't give. Up on us This one is with this
line under. The genre of.
House satisfaction, does it not? I feel like it would.
Well, there's other characteristics.
So we have the four. Count beat of the four to the
four on the floor beat is what it's called.
You have to have a tempo of 115 to 130 beats per minute.
I'm pretty sure that and there is like some soulful sounds to
them. Describe Soulful.
In this definition. Soulful.
I don't know, just big. Loud good belting music singers
doesn't really align with the rest of their.
Genre definition it. I understand what it's saying
because when? I hear a soulful.
I think of like. Catholic singers or like Baptist
singers like R and. B Singers, yeah, I would say I.
Don't know how that lands at their house but.
OK, it's. A is definition of it, not mine,
so I know. No, I I do agree with it.
Because when I think of the house music that I listen to,
there is a lot of soul, a lot of belting.
I can hear it OK and originated from.
DJ's blending. Disco funk and electronic beats.
OK, got that. That's my definition.
That was it. Yeah, period.
Yeah, that's all. That's all the ChatGPT gave me.
AII love house music though, and I'm actually.
Really glad that you do know what it is, because a lot of
people don't. I wonder if it's because you're
from Vegas. I can see.
Vegas. And I want to say yes, I can
see. A lot of house music in Vegas.
I mean we. I can see that we.
Fucking host EDC Yeah. So that's like it is EDM.
There's just. A.
It's like a. Subcategory of EDM, yeah, I
mean, because there's like the hardcore like.
EDM, which is like Skrillex and shit and then there's like the
software part, which is like Tiësto and then there's also
like more the house genre, which is what you're mentioning, which
is very just like soft, like beats in the back.
But it's all, I don't think I would say soft OK, but it's like
compared. To like something they.
Disagree part of the other ones that are under the same
category. They're pretty soft anyways.
We I need to move on to the IT is my part return for two
twunks. I'm sorry two truths.
I mean, we are that is the title of our show this.
Twunk needs to play 2 Truths and a Lie over here.
Are we sticking to music or are we like, kind of like just yeah.
Let's do music. I mean that is the topic.
So unless you want to do Britney.
I. Mean.
All right, You know what then? Since you can't decide, we're.
Going to do Katie, OK. I was kidding.
I mean, but I could do it. OK, No, because I don't want to.
Hear you diss Katie. Anything.
No, it's nothing bad. No, I don't want it.
Let's just do music. So, OK, so.
These are my things I don't care for.
Beyoncé I actually have. To agree with that, you don't
know yet. There's still two more.
No, I'm just saying I. Agree with that.
So my first one is I. Don't care for Beyoncé.
Cashew's comeback should have been bigger, and also Katy
Perry's Part of Me was actually a pretty great song.
OK, that's the truth. That one is the truth because.
That is like my favorite power anthem from her.
She has the best power anthem. That's why I love her.
Anyways, I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna just get on a Katy rant,
so I don't care for Beyoncé. Katy Perry's part of me was
actually kind of a bop. I never got one with her.
I think you do. Care for?
Beyoncé I think that's the lie. The one what the lie was?
What The one I forgot. I don't care for Beyoncé.
And Katy Perry's part of me. Is actually really a great bop,
but I totally forgot what I said for the second point.
Was it Ke$ha? The Ke$ha's comeback should have
been bigger. That's the lie.
Yeah, slightly, because. I mean, granted, when she did
come back, she came out with praying and like, that was a
great song. It was a great song, but it
could have been bigger. It was big, I know, but it was
big was. It the album the album.
Coming was like really foreshadowed.
It was a really good song and you know what?
That really kind. Of hit me hard only because it
was a really hard time in my life at that point it was really
hard I was so happy for her too because.
She joined the whistle tone group.
I that song I do. Yeah, she.
Did she did a great job. I actually thought her comeback
was as bad, as good as it's going to get.
I mean, I mean at some point we have to realize our pop Divas,
their time has passed. They can they can keep making
music, but the younger generation should start
listening. Unless somehow Gaga has and
Taylor. Taylor has 100% made it through.
Started when she was 16, though she kind of started early.
And she started really. Since she's still young, she
appeals. To them I get it, although I
will say but Ke$ha still like she's.
In music. So like she writes most of the
Papa artist songs her Katy 2 don't.
Forget. Katy 2 Katy started off like
that. Pink started off like that as
well. Yeah, but I mean just, I don't
know how many songs, I can't say.
I can't see any of their names really at the end of like song
credits anymore, except I think this was kind of back in the day
when they were starting, but. Yeah, they all they all did it.
They I think they all kind of start like that.
Fun fact real quick, Yes, because we.
Are running out of time since I've.
Did you know Lady Gaga? Wrote telephone for Britney
Spears. Yes, I did know that you you
were. So tardied to the party girl.
No, I'm just saying I found that out the other day.
I know I'm tardy, but I mean. Since it was on topic with
Britney Spears, Ke$ha wrote Till the world ends.
Yeah, I know. That's why she.
Was the remix I mentioned. That earlier too, I don't
remember. I don't think I did.
But that was like, that was my favorite.
Song by Britney was Till the World Ends, the remix version
with Ke$ha and that isn't it. I will still agree with you on
that. One, I mean, I really wish on
this, on this last note, the fact that Nicki Minaj has gone
ultra MAGA and just so trash about it that that just fucks up
everything for me. Because Nicki's got a lot of
she's got a lot of good music that I've I still listen to to
this day, and she just completely fucked it up for me
now. Like I feel bad even letting,
even letting a song stream I like, I feel like I'm giving her
some type of power over Yeah, I don't like it.
I don't like it. And you know what?
Fucking. Carrie Underwood too.
Screw her just because she's all cute and I'm so care.
I'm so perfect. No screw, screw Carrie Underwood
too. No, screw Carrie Underwood too.
And I love that she's getting booed.
And I hope she's getting booed for the right reasons because
she's a pedophile protector. Yeah, pedophile protecting never
looked so good. Anyways, on who, Carrie?
Because it never looked good on anyone.
She just, I mean, she looked. Good.
But she does. She does not get a fucking pass,
OK? She's just as trashy and MAGA as
Nicki Minaj. I never said she did.
I know. I don't know why I'm yelling at
you, but we are. We definitely are out of time.
Yes. Thank you all for listening.
And. We absolutely love all of you.
I'm Taylor Perry. This is Ian Moon.
We are your favorite non practicing Mormon and Baptist
boys coming to you from the heart of the Bible belt.
Ashley, thank you everyone and have.
A good. Night really lousy friends like
good night guys. That's good night.
